Be on a place of rest, away from distractions. Close your eyes. Abstract yourself from your thoughts and analyze them. Seek to extinguish them one by one. Do this time and time again, your mind being quieter each time. It'll be a gradual process. Eventually you'll want to take the next step which is to stop thinking about not thinking, then you must simply will your mind to cease. This can be gradually accomplished by a realization that you are neither your feelings nor your mind, that you are higher than these and can control them; accompanied by methods like what >>113323 said.

Have you lads entered that void-like state where it's like your body is just gone, you're surrounded by black but able to percieve in all directions? Just prior to it happening last time, it was like a vortex of energy rushed the top of my head. Any tips on quickly achieving that state again is much appreciated.

I could use some advice. I was meditating every day for over a year straight. Managed to go very deep and see the same sort of things people describe from taking dmt. Learned a whole fucking lot from my meditations. When I say I meditated every day I mean hours and hours every day. After a while I started noticing "entities" . At first it was overall pleasant but after a while there was one that would pester the shit out of me while meditating. From this point on as soon as I would begin, or even when I was just relaxing but not meditating i.e. when ever I lowered my heart rate to relaxation levels this thing would start fucking with me. It would interact with me in ways that I was not comfortable with. The more I focused on ignoring it the more it fucked with me. At first I saw it as a test "I must ignore and overcome this thing" but then I started thinking "maybe I need to explore it to understand what it is". But, it soon got to the point where it was fucking with me during sleep too. I would wake up feeling like I had been engaged in combat rather than sleeping. And it got to the point where I was actually afraid to go to sleep. This thing that was pestering me started taking on very dark and malicious tones. I had come to regard it as some form of parasite. I stopped meditating, and found that if I positioned myself a specific way when I laid down for bed I would fall asleep without entering any sort of meditative state and it eventually stopped bothering me so much.

Fast forward to now, I've started meditating again, only now I can not silence my thoughts I have a very hard time reaching mediation and the second I do I feel the sensation that you feel when you hear a very obnoxious and unexpected sound.. kind of like my skull is ringing like a bell for a moment, which causes my mental silence to shatter.

If anyone has advice I would gladly hear it. Also, any input on "spiritual parasites" specifically one that seems to favor the intestines?

First time I experienced that was before I got into meditation, I was pretty seriously hurt and knocked "unconscious" for a moment although I was very much lucid and aware.

When you were there did you notice anything? I noticed that even though I was able to see "forever into nothing but blackness" that somewhere between where I was and the infinite blackness there was a very vague shape that looked very much like an office desk. Also, while you were there did you experience the vortex of energy again? I experienced it several times while I was there, every time I asked myself a question I felt it and it felt like pure knowledge being beamed into my head.

My memory is fairly fuzzy as it's been a few weeks since I've last experienced it. It felt like I was a single point of consciousness. I don't think I saw anything but it did feel like I was moving towards something at one point. I can't recall if I continued to feel the energy vortex but I do remember asking myself questions and thinking that it felt like the information was being beamed into me.

Unfortunately on the only 2 occasions that I can remember entering the state, I only lasted in it for what felt like 5 minutes before being jolted out of it by my cat. The last time occurred when I was just lying on my back in bed and the other was actually triggered when I became lucid mid-dream. Both times were spontaneous though and just kind of happened.

I really found the state to be quite comfy. I'm fairly good at putting my body to sleep but I just can't seem to snap away my awareness of it.

Does anyone know of any chaotic meditation rituals?

I don't know how else to describe it, so using popular culture I guess I would describe it has how a Sith or Grey Jedi 'meditates' – trying to become angry, holding it, feeling the pure rage and emotion in their mind, controlling it, etc.

I did one set of chaotic meditations like this naturally, a while back. I wonder if anyone has ever developed a proper set of them, though.

How do you people position your bodies when meditating? I have had a lot of luck with just being supine, but I'm starting to see the wisdom in not relying on that during all parts of the day e.t.c.

Would appreciate detailed description if you use any aids like pillows or anything. If you have a great resource that explains it, that could be helpful for me if you would share.

I find the position recommended by Sadhguru (check him on youtube or his app)

works well. You can use a pillow or folded towel at first but after you strengthen your core you should sit flat on the floor or on a mat.

Crossed legs, head slightly upturned, hands palms up on the thighs. It's not complicated.

He is sort of in Burmese? Looked at some of the videos but didn't find anything that was like an instruction.

I used to sit in sort of quarter lotus with a zafu style pillow.

(without pillow I tend to get a rounded back, I think you'd have to be very flexible in the lower back to sit flat on the floor)

After thinking about it I think part of my problem is that the pillow I use now tends to compact more and more after long sitting, should possibly find something that doesn't keep compressing without end.

He posts all his free instructions on youtube but maybe they're not so easy to find. The app has a program with a set of exercises, the only real use of the app is that you get the content structured with an overview, but I guess that does it, compared to trying to make sense of which ones are relevant on the youtube website.

https://isha.sadhguru.org/app/

This is more of an introduction course, after a few months of this, at least in my case, I found no further use for anything beyond the breating exercises because I already unlocked what they are supposed to do. Still really useful for achieving this.

basically sums up all the years on fringe(and other occult places) for me. Maybe we are just NPC who should have never come this far. I'm currently doing a 48 day cycle of 30-60 mins custom (mostly taken from Kreiters work) meditations (30 mins the same stuff every day, then bonus whatever random stuff I feel like) and being on day 4 today I have already no motivation to keep going. Feel like an idiot chasing after some pot of gold at the other end of the infinite rainbow. For NPCs like me (and maybe you) it would be better to just dedicate our mortal illusory lives to videogames and porn.

I'm actually kidding, don't abandon the spiritual path. The mundane world is literally nothing and no better than a log of dogshit in the park. Hollow illusions. Just trying on the spiritual path is more satisfying than anything the NPC life could offer you. Never give up, this way even if you achieve nothing you can die without regret, knowing that you were at least on the path and gave your all, not succumbing to the braindead zombie hivemind and slave-society.

>>138941

But you may want to read some John Kreiter if you haven't already, especially "Way of the Projectionist" and do the visualization and focus exercises, paired with finding your true self as explained in "Arcane Formulas". If yoga isn't working for you, try different directions. It all depends on your goal anyway, you didn't say what you were trying to achieve in the first place. Maybe you didn't even know what you wanted to achieve and you treated your meditation too carelessly.

You gotta do kinetics. Nothing compares with the feeling you get after performing your first "impossible" operation – moving a relatively heavy object that can't be explained away by a chance gust of win, assassinating a fellow using nothing but your mind, rectifying an illness or deformity that you had previously thought you'd have to endure the rest of your life. IMO spending 30 minutes a day staring at a psi wheel is more productive than spending 30 minutes doing esoteric high magic.

Sorry man, only tried to help you out. Your problem might come from having a rotten mindset and being closed off to any benefitial effects and new wisdom. If your glass is full with diarrhea, you cannot fill tasty plum wine into it. I get the impression you have no honest desire for the spiritual.

You still haven't told us about your actual goals and motivations with this.

Maybe you need some inspiration to awake your spirit in the form of music for example or poetry, or art, sex(waifus) even or whatever.

Can you visualize on focus on a single blue square for 5 minutes without a break and without it changing? Can you visualize yourself to be in an astral place in ego-perspective for long-ass times with such realness and clarity and involvement of all your senses that you literally appear there and it becomes even more real than the physical? If not, keep practicing.

To sum up what it all comes down to imo:

1. Have a superhuman focus and visualization ability

2. Be awake and aware 24/7, every day. And I mean being awake as your "I am" or true mind and not in the mundane way. Even if your body goes to sleep at night, your true mind never forgets itself and never sleeps.

1 and 2 combined will lead to the realization of your true nature, activation of WILL, enlightenment, immortality and escape from the matrix. Add a 3. bonus step in form of energy work to suppliment things because you will also need some energy but it's not very important. Energy mostly comes by itself from right practice.

Work towards this and maybe you want to get your head out of your ass, put your rotten false ego in place and read the books without skipping or falling asleep. Falling asleep is what you should not do anymore.

No matter what path you follow and what exercises you do, keep in mind this general goal. You want to unite with your subconscious(female) while staying awake as your conscious(male). You cannot let your subconscious completey drown your conscious and fall asleep forever. (your fake conscious may be termed your false ego, fake mind, or even demiurge while your real conscious may be termed true ego, real mind or Kristos). You can only come to god though surrendering to your subconscious, but you have to keep your own power and fire/will going. Fusing and balancing true consciousness and subconsciousnes. You find your subconsciousness by silencing your false mind trough meditation, visualization and focus.

That's all from me, I hope it helps but even if not, good luck on your journey. At the end of the day it's just about keeping going and staying at it. If you haven't attained enough mind-power to properly achieve the above described states and do the exercises and meditations masterfully, you must just practice more.

Hey, I made that pic! I'm famous.

The concept is taken from Kabbalah Magic and the Great Work of Self-Transformation, and I first heard about it on the mindandmagick YouTube channel.

Thanks for the pic then. I like adding pics from which you can learn or get spiritual inspiration into my library/collection just like I love listening to music that motivates me on the spirutual path. Even if it's a meme or comic, if it fits into the library it goes into the library. Only the good stuff tho, I'm no senseless hoarder or "collectionist".
