Cranberry Sauce is SUPER EASY TO MAKE, and it's soooooo good that it's always a sure-fire success !! a big hit with everyone who tastes it.
when you say 'cranberry sauce' most people instantly think of canned Ocean Spray cranberry sauce thick solid jellified CRAP…
if you've never made your own, you're in for quite a treat!! in fact, you'll end up making it all the time as a perfect side…
the ingredients are so simple…
Fresh Cranberries, Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice (i use mandarin oranges or tangerines) and Orange Zest (plus a touch of lemon zest)
Personally, I also like to add Pomegranate Juice to the mixture as it reduces, as the Pomegranate adds a nice layer of its own unique sweet tartness
it cooks FAST, and youll be done in 20 minutes

I've been roasting garlic lately and making the most amazing spread that goes perfectly on anything… I'm going to roast about 12 bulbs of garlic tomorrow night and set it aside for Thursday… When you roast the garlic with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and a decent amount ofTRENDY HIPSTER HIMALAYAN PINK SALTthe garlic caramelizes inside of its onion paper skin…. when it's done roasting 60 minutes later, you can just push on the onion paper skins, and the golden brown caramelized garlic cloves come sliding out of the skin, ready to be smashed into a paste

I've got several health problems, the least of which is not a recent diagnosis of congestive heart failure…. I'm not exactly a spring chicken anymore, and I'm not going to suddenly get healthier… It's downhill from here…

And I'm extremely thankful that the United States government sees fit to continue their socialism program of alloting me a certain amount of money each month to survive because at this stage of my life it's the only option I have left… Due to my health I'm unable to go out and take on a nine-to-five job…
Shit…. if you only knew how bad congestive heart failure really is you'd understand that I have a hard time struggling just to take care of my daily chores here at the house… Congestive heart failure leads you unable to breathe after walking a short distance or carrying shit…
There's something about the term "welfare" that has a negative embarrassing stigma for most people, including me… But it turns out my disability benefits are technically considered WELFARE, and although it sounds cringy, that's exactly what I am… I am an old man who is surviving on United States welfare disability benefits…
I also get Medicaid, which is a major blessing for me… There's no way I could afford my prescription medication or doctors appointments without the assistance of the government.
I'm also thankful because part of my disability benefits includes EBT food stamps… It really helps a lot… My wife busts her ass at work, and food prices have gone up… It's actually a miracle I am able to get EBT food benefits along with my welfare disability benefits and medical care and prescriptions…
So yeah….. im VERY VERY thankful, because although it's not a ton of money, I'm able to pay my rent and my utilities and my phone bill and my cable bill, and still have a little money to set aside every month…
I was able to get my $400 COPD inhaler yesterday for free, and I'm going to Kroger to load up on Thanksgiving groceries today, and I certainly appreciate it very much….
I'm not embarrassed at all to openly admit that I am a welfare recipient…
I'm extremely Thankful to be a welfare recipient… And I'm very fortunate…

So I think it's important I salute modern medicine because natural remedies only go so far oh, and that's where modern medicine steps in, even though of course in retrospect there are mistakes along the way… But that's the entire concept of modern medicine… Learning the most possible and making changes when we learn more
