Do you still read your local paper, either print or digital? Do you think local journalism still plays a vital role in your community, or has it been overshadowed by national and social media coverage? Would love to hear your thoughts.

I still subscribe to my local paper’s digital edition. It keeps me informed about school board decisions, community events, and local issues that bigger outlets don’t cover. I think local journalism adds an important layer of accountability and connection that national news just can’t replicate.

I recently started paying more attention to local journalism again after realizing how disconnected I felt from my own community. While researching local outlets, I came across https://times-herald-record.pissedconsumer.com/review.html , which gave me a better sense of how others view their experiences with regional newspapers. Some reviews were mixed, but many highlighted the value of localized reporting, school closures, town hall meetings, and even local heroes that never make national headlines. I think local newspapers are still relevant, especially when they focus on the stories that impact daily life.
