Hey /fit/ my mother has stage 4 chronic kidney disease with a GFR of 19, and it’s slowly getting worse. This is from a misdiagnosis by her previous doctor who put her on pre diabetes medicine which destroyed her kidneys. She wasn’t close to being diabetic. Currently she’s right on the border of being put on dialysis & the transplant list. Her GFR needs to be at 15 for that.

I’ve been thinking that maybe BPC-157 (sub Q & oral), TB500, HGH, and female HRT, as she is post menopausal, may help to stop her kidney degradation, or even start to reverse it. Would these compounds be beneficial at all in helping her regain kidney function? From what I’ve researched so far and in my unprofessional opinion these compounds at worst will do nothing and not harm the kidneys and at best may increase her GFR.

Also, is there anything similar that would help her regain kidney function?

I’m not expecting a miracle but hopeful that her kidneys will heal some. Her doctor right now pretty much refuses to write her a prescription for anything, and told her she’s fucked as there’s nothing to be done in her opinion. I’m taking it upon myself to do what I can to try to help.

Lastly, I’m not asking for your sympathy nor do I want it.

Hey anon, I know it's been 5 days and I hope you're still checking this thread and nothing bad has happened. I can't say much in terms of HRT and HGH, but I would recommend having her drink apple cider vinegar once every day(make sure it's with the mother, and shake bottle every time before pouring about 4tbsp into a glass for her). Apple cider vinegar's been known to promote detoxification of all organs, and it's EXTREMELY beneficial for keeping kidneys nice and clean and healthy. I feel like this would aid in the recovery process and may help even jumpstart it.

Thanks anon I really appreciate it. I just remembered that there’s apple cider vinegar in the fridge but I don’t recall seeing her have any recently. I’ll make sure she starts with that today.

I did have her purchase a kidney peptide complex called A-9 pielotax over the weekend, and it should be here by Thursday. Truthfully this peptide complex is a Hail Mary in the fucking dark. There’s not a whole lot of info about what it is exactly except that it’s manufactured at the St. Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology & that it’s supposed to be beneficial for kidneys. As far as the compounds I’ve mentioned I’ve yet to get her started on them. Thankfully she’s open to trying them but wants to introduce each compound one at a time so it might take a few months for her to use them all.

Additionally, in my research I did come across some more not so well know peptides that could help. Namely - Epitalon, Thymalin, GHK-Cu, Vilon, FOXO4-DRI, Humanin, and MOTS-c.

Hey Anon, hope your mother will be alright, dude.

I kinda know what you're going through because my father passed away recently and his condition got that bad partially because of misdiagnosis.

But please man, we're both not medical professionals. Don't just hook your mother up on some medications because it might just be the case you missed some detail or that some of these require other checkups before giving the greenlight. The human body is too complex one would think it is beyond physician's understanding. Let alone a bunch of online shitposters.

If your doctor will not discuss this whatsoever, get another doctor's opinion, and a third opinion.

Hope your mother does alright, I haven't posted here in years but I just wanted to write this.

from experience, this took me decades to

look back on,

maybe 1999 I was training, no days off,

I w in th hospital for a week, I gained 2 lbs,

maybe 3 or 4 yo ago I looked back on those

2 lbs,

seperately, about 96 I switched from regular

bb training then went to power straining,

a 3 days routine, squats 5X5 to absolute

max, dead lifts 5X5, incline Bench 5X5,

my quality absolutley exploded,

now upon that about 4-5 yo maybe less,

btw, I'm exhausted from drama in my life ok,

now, train BB for 2 weeks take 2 days off

I'd get about 2lb, not pure quality but I

did this for a few months, shake up days

off, 2 days after a week, 2 days after 2 weeks

training, not pure quality but I bumped by

about 20lbs,

now, I'd say this, BB for a month but w th shake

up of 2 days rest after a week training, shake it

w 2 days rest after 2 weeks, th days rest to shock,

like I said, in my lazy time w th rest days I

gained about 20lb but yea not pure quality but

this is still useful,

plus this, one month BB training, then th next month

pure power training, squat one day, deadlift th 2nd

then incline bench & still inject those days off like

th first BB month,

my experience w th quality bounce w I did pure

power training in 96, plus that 2lb when I w in

th hospital w a week off, plus that 20 lb gain

from my two week on 2 day off or one week

& 1 day off, that w over maybe a few months

to get that 20lb

to me this is a discovered science for shock th

system,

plus, BB train for a month, power train th

next month, how about another format

of training system next like cross fit,

my experience & what I'd call th discovery

of th science of shock th system,

to sum it up, for shock th system,

from my experience w 2 days off

after a week or another 2 weeks

of training in BB, shake up days off,

gain, then th power training for

a month to shock it again & again

w days off, then a crossfit,

I hope this is understandable,

I'm going through brutal stress

these days that affects my ability

to concentrate properly to read or write,
