My goal, simply put, is to save money and not spend so much eating out. No more fast food and no more eating out at work. The goal is essentially to fast. My employer gives me as much bottled water as I please, and I have a bottle of electrolytes mixed.

I had an eating disorder in the past so I cant speak for everyone but counting calories messes with my head majorly so I can relate.

I food journal instead (no numbers, just descriptions) following these rough guidelines:

vegetables or fruit at every meal

stop eating when full

save eating for breakfast, lunch , and dinner only (so no snacks)

get some kind of exercise in daily

I also weigh myself weekly so I can make adjustments to my "meal plan" if necessary"
