Now that Coronachan is starting to spread her love to ever corner of the globe and with every civilized nation declaring a state of emergency, how will /fit/izens stay healthy? Most gyms are going to be closed, and those that aren't are going to be petri dishes with the amount of sweat and other bodily fluids covering everything so those are a no-go. Stores are going to gradually run dry of all the essential foods for a diet. How are you going to keep your gains up and your lifts strong when you have nothing to eat/lift? Share your advice with those that know what the fuck they're doing.

i picked a hell of a time to start keto

>not running

>not working on your core

>not owning resistance bands

>not eating oats, oninons, garlics, buckwheat, nuts, canned stuff

You won't make real gains, but you will maintain a part of your strength and stay somewhat fit. Train your endurance, use this chance, to switch up your classic routine.

Dips, pull ups, and standing push ups will maintain most of your upper body gainz, if you don't already own one, get a pull up and dip bar asap.

Thankfully I'm very lucky in that I have some woods behind my house I can sneak into to lift boulders and stuff to fulfill my weights routines. While I don't have a home gym, I do have a treadmill and a few pieces of equipment to do more "serious" calisthenics, so I'll at least have something to do until quarantine is lifted. I'm more pissed that my gym wants to charge me a monthly membership while every facility in the state is closed and is making me use the three-month clause (I can claim up to three months of "hardship" where I don't have to pay but I can't go either) to cover this stupid virus.

My gym is also closed I believe. At the moment my plan is to just do light, spaced exercise throughout the day. So every couple hours I'll do an easy set of squats, some pullups and chinups, decline pushups, situps, neck curls. maybe dips as well. and a couple of minutes on the jump rope between working on other things.

I've heard it called "greasing the groover" which to me sounds stupid, but whatever. I'm at home all day so rather than exercising in a single window of time I just plan to do it spaced out.
