I was a skinnyfag with 25% bodyfat when I started my journey
Now 7 months later my bf falls to 17% and already felling my muscles tighten my shirts.
I was 76kg then, now I'm 74kg.
Maybe is not about what you are eating, but about what's your fat %

you're probably storing too much energy and aren't using it during your lifts.

So far as I know, common knowledge is 3 sets of 90% of your max lift to maximize strenght, and 60% 6 to 9 sets to maximize size. Could be dudebro science for all I know though.
