I'm 6'5" with extra-long arms for my height (with comparatively short legs). It pisses me off I'll never achieve a physique other than t-rex mode without roiding. Nor could I ever reach any impressive poundage with bench/overhead press, do 100 pushups, etc. even if I could probably get to >600# squat and >800# deadlift if I weren't actively avoiding strength and size leg lifts for the sake of not making my already massive thighs and ass even bigger.

It came about because French inches were longer than English inches, so his height was officially something like 5'2" (French), and the powers that be used this to sow derision among the retards that made up the vast majority of every population at the time.
Fortunately Napoleon graced us all with a standardized, unbiased, internationally recognized, and now also well-defined system of measurements ensuring this kind of idiocy is a thing of the past.

When do you suppose the whole height "discrimination" started? I just find it strange that 6' has become this weird cutoff even when there is on average a decent height difference between men and women. My mom is 5'2" and my dad is 5'6" so that's plenty different.

Because it's the one insult you can actually make against someone that they can't change. Any fatfuck can drop the weight and start lifting, but a midget is a midget forever.
That's why old /fit/ started using it. But now Tinder has demonstrated women are literal size queens and, at the very least, not interested in anyone shorter than they are, and often fetishize being with men twice their size.
Of course, the reality is you can make up for that. Being ripped certainly goes a long way. Money helps. So does fame. The usual stuff. I think the key is to try not being a midget and looking like a goblin. Although even then you can be funny and get away with it.
I really only think it's become a problem with the prevalence of online dating. You can measure them before you meet them. Used to be that you could work your charisma before their first impression of your sunk in, but now you get a photo, a description, and maybe one message to set the tone. Good luck even getting that far when they're making a snap decision based solely on physical appearance.
I mostly find it weird how women have seemingly settled on 6'0". I guess because it's a round number? It's an awkward height that not many people actually have and every inch above average sees a sharp drop-off in the distribution.

they almost always overstate desired height. Women are not known for their good spatial recognition skills. They literally think the 5'9 vs 6 ft meme is a real thing.
Also it's been proven that they're the biggest liars when it comes to their own height and age

The tall have every reason to defend against predators. Towards the equator is where, historically, you'd get more different peoples competing and warring – and also shorter peoples – but the Northern tall Nords have values of peace and coziness perhaps from the influence of colder climate. My point being that the Nords don't have much instinctive reason to be aggressive, and are influenced by the cold to be less "hot headed" and "hot blooded". Can the tall northerners actually fend off predators if they had to? Perhaps their sense of community and such would help, but now that their governments are letting rapefugees in en masse, what do they do? What do they say? Can they really deal with fucked up leadership? We'll see. Perhaps historically, they are weak in resisting leadership, perhaps it's the opposite; it would be good to find out to know what to expect.

This is true and a good point. "Numbers!?"

Yeah you would need to focus overwhelmingly on both high strength lifts and high volume. More of everything pretty much. More variety, more weight, more volume. If you can manage that you can grow like a mf.
Time under tension, variety between workouts and sets, high weight everything, low weight for a long time under tension with higher reps + variety within the set itself, high frequency, and high volume. You may worry about the volume, but you have to FORCE the growth with your build. That makes you the better athlete, really. Make sure to include plenty of rotations and small muscle exercises – working out for 2 hours everyday, and doing stuff at home like dynamic isometrics and small muscle exercises (again). You have to develop literally each muscle, on its own, low rest between sets and exercises.
Oh and eat onions and drink hotsauce + vinegar + spices. Onions aren't a meme. The other shit is my own suggestion.

Dude who cares? Yes absolute strength is tied to muscle cross sectional area which is harder at 6'5 than 5'6, but you'll still be able to throw on significant amounts of muscle if you lift hard.
So your somewhat skinnier biceps and triceps will still have a lot of muscle overall. You'll have advantages in reach, grip, and overall work you can do.
Another way to look at it is that while someone under 6' may be able to fill out more quickly, they'll reach a point where they're just a bulky ball of muscle. For you that point might be 40 pounds heavier.

The average height among the top ten strongmen is about 6'3. This is true for the top ten powerlifters as well. Height is an advantage. You have a bigger skeleton when you're taller, so you have more room to put on muscle overall, but not anymore in ratio to your height than someone who's shorter. Sometimes, you can appear to have more muscle in proportion to your height if you're shorter than if your taller, so some people say it's a bit of an advantage in bodybuilding, but people will always think the taller person, even if he doesn't look as jacked as you, and as long as the difference in muscle isn't extreme, is stronger than the shorter person, even if that isn't true.

My manlet friends are always nervous and compensate with aggressiveness to the point of being obnoxious or difficult to socialize with.
One of them talked about it and described it as walking in a crowd where nearly everyone was taller than him or at face level, he felt like it hit his self-confidence at all times.
Now that we are older they developed into two groups.
>1 Got used to it and can communicate normally, compensation phase is over. They have went out and experimented a lot with all sort of hobbies so now they just about tons of stuff
>coping via experience and knowledge
>2 Keep to themselves and advance in life slowly and steadily. Avoid large gatherings and keep a few close friends of any size. Do not seem to care as much anymore.
>3 Became overly social but prone to backstabbing at every opportunity. Look for ways to get others to do work for them, completely inept at physical labor or repulsed by it. Pretend to be intellectual but really super primal.
>4 Still to this day super aggressive verbally and prone to fits of rage, but overall not really dangerous physically. Self-confidence born of putting others down at all times.
Truly the path of the manlet is not easy. As far as I am concerned either the experienced ones or the ones who keep to themselves are ok. Those hyper-agressive or backstabbing manlets are just a pain to work/do group activities with.
