Is testosterone responsible for early hair loss? Because I would really like to keep my scalp, without gulping down soy.

I heard a while ago that its not test but rather the DHT androgen it leaves behind as waste. Leaving DHT behind is what kills hair follicles. There's some shampoos out there that remove DHT. But this'll only prevent any further hair loss. You have to use a combination of a DHT remover to stop it and minoxidil to regrow it.

If you are going bald, just own it and shave your head. It looks bad for maybe two weeks until your head gets the same color as your face. After that, it's great.

DHT isn't the only thing going on
https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0306987717310411
>The hypothesis argues that: (1) chronic scalp tension transmitted from the galea aponeurotica induces an inflammatory response in androgenic alopecia-prone tissues; (2) dihydrotestosterone increases in androgenic alopecia-prone tissues as part of this inflammatory response; and (3) dihydrotestosterone does not directly miniaturize hair follicles.
>Rather, dihydrotestosterone is a co-mediator of tissue dermal sheath thickening, perifollicular fibrosis, and calcification – three chronic, progressive conditions concomitant with androgenic alopecia progression.

Shaved bald is great. Wish I did it years ago. I went from nerd to bruiser instantly.

I know pretty much everything there is to know about standard hair loss treatments.
And as batshit crazy as it first seemed, I think there actually may be something to the scalp tension issue. Biological systems are very complex, and it's not that wild to think there's at least an interaction between scalp tension and DHT. i.e. you're truly fucked if you have a tight scalp and male DHT-levels. Take away either one and there's an improvement.

I'm not bald and I have a hard time finding a what style looks the best
For now I'm sort of rolling with an un-oiled pulled back look with hair that doesn't reach my traps and a full beard.
being bald is probably from a hormonal imbalance rather than simply too much test.
sorry 4 ur loss.

It's a genetic predisposition that makes the hair follicles on your head more sensitive to DHT. If you have it, it will happen eventually no matter what.
