Serious question, is it?

I've heard a low carb diet helps lower insulin which supposedly helps lower fat? I mean I'm certain I won't be able to get rid of my belly without finally working out abs but every little thing counts right? I mean I won't even lower my carbs that much by cutting out the parts I will, I'll still consume 80 carbs or so a day because of milk and other food. I'm just looking to get carb free bread. Is this actually serious or will i just be fucking myself even more?

Low carb/ketogenic diets are good for one thing only- losing a large amount of weight. If you're very overweight, and don't mind losing some musculature in the process of getting rid of the fat, then temporary keto would be advisable as an efficient method of getting the weight off. However, if you only want to cut a little bit, then there is absolutely no need for keto, which is bad for testosterone and gainz.

Having visible abs is due to very low body fat %. Stronger abdominal muscles is of course a good thing, but they're not going to show at all regardless of how buff you are unless you have low body fat.

There is no real point in cutting carbs unless you want to do keto, which fundamentally requires a prolonged near-complete absinence from carb intake. If you don't want to do keto and just want to lose some weight, then simply eat less and move more so you'll be at a calorie deficit.
