Lets discuss everything general to hormones in this thread, feel free to post any insights and advice, male and female related. (afterall we need care for our females as well)

Just recently I've found about thyroid dysfunction, I knew how it could be a problem, but further looking into, how not only it affects your metabolism, but outright affects motivation and symptoms of ADHD. Heard one possible solution is zync intake.

Jokes aside, many men/boys/teens suffer from low testosterone or high estrogen, if you can, try reducing estrogen and/or increasing testosterone. It doesn't matter that you trade in your natty card, you are basically a hormonal cripple. You wouldn't tell someone who can't walk to simply stand up and not use a wheelchair, why would it bother you to pin when you got a terrible hormonal balance.

Where in the Sam heck are boys and teens going to get steroids? Dr Noseberg won't give away hormones unless it's for turning you into a girl.

Not disagreeing with you there, growing up in contaminated environment probably fucked me over, plus shitty education or lack of thereof, bad habits and examples.

To give you an idea, underdeveloped manlet, probably low test throughout my teenage and early adulthood. Tendecy towards autism and ADHD. Porn addict through my adult life and practically impotent at 28.

I know that, and that's why I've created this thread so we can share information.

One thing that really helped me regain my dick power was the maca root, then getting fit and more athletic help me sustain it.

Still I gain weight way too easily, I can clearly see a thyroidal issue here, I'm way too heavy for my height even though being just slightly chubby.

Lads, recently I've been diagnosed with testicular cancer, and thus had to get my right one removed yesterday. I've been lifting weights/non-competitive boxing for about a year now. I got into pretty great shape, then this happened. I don't know why, but whatever. Doctor says my testosterone should bounce back and that the left one will compensate easily, but I've read that it doesn't always happen that way. How do I make sure my testosterone is back up? I can't lift more than 25 pounds for about six weeks, he says. I'm pretty fucking blackpilled over this, so any advice is appreciated, especially from anyone who's recovered from cancer.

I saw an article yesterday about how fetuses whose mother ate food cooked in nonstick pans grew up to have 1/2" smaller dicks.

More importantly than the dicks thing is that it must be fucking up a baby's hormones something crazy to cause that effect. And our hormones too.

I'm trying to get away from

>plastics (including tupperware, packaging, and synthetic fabrics like polyester)

>seeds and some legumes

>nonstick pans

>heavy metals like aluminum foil

And of course get exercise and slepp and nofap.

The thing MOST people are concerned about, since most people are just not concerned with fitness at all, is the ability to have children, which believe me I am concerned about, but I know one testicle is enough to have kids. I'm just concerned about testosterone for right now though because I don't want to turn into some soycuck faggot. As of now, 2 days after removal, and defacto nofap, I want to fuck so bad, so obviously my testosterone, at the moment, is in check, but I know these things take a while to process fully. Hopefully I don't have to do chemo, because that will make my one ball really have some work to do.

Ball cancer skews towards young white men, probably for genetic reasons. Most men who get cancer do not get ball cancer, however most white men who get cancer under 30, have a very high chance of having ball cancer. I have a sneaky suspicion that the poison well is highly involved though. You should do research on cancer. It's actually fascinating.

I found the original paper, the study took place in Italy. I don't think its teflon unless teflon is a PFC?

Kind of shoddy methodology and a low sample size, but the Journal has an impact factor of 5.455 so its cited fairly frequently and they accepted the paper. Anyways, it says:

>We found that increased levels of PFCs in plasma and seminal fluid positively correlate with circulating T and with a reduction of semen quality, testicular volume, penile length and AGD. Experimental evidence points towards an antagonistic action of PFOA on the binding of T to AR in gene reporter assay, competition assay on AR-coated SPR chip and AR nuclear translocation assay.

>Perfluoroalkyl compounds (PFCs) are a class of organic molecules that are used in many

everyday products such as oil and water repellents, coatings for cookware, carpets, and

textiles.

The news article I read says

>Men develop penises up to half an inch shorter if their parents are exposed to a common chemical used in non-stick frying pans and waterproof clothing.

>The chemicals, perfluoroalkyl compounds (PFCs) are also used in greaseproof paper – but can have alarming effects on male children.

another article says

>To make it even worse, all the PFCs that have been introduced into the environment continue to pose a threat – scientists estimate that these extremely stable chemicals will outlast human life on Earth.

There is a very good chance your lone nut will make massive gains, get swoll and produce the test of 2 normal functioning testes baby please

However if after some time, and bloodwork confirming that your test is down (no matter how little its down, if its down from where you were, you're fucking low test) your test stays low. Do not hesitate to get on TRT. Doctor shop if you have to, self medicate, do what you have to do. There is no life to be lived with low testosterone. But there is hope.

My Uncle is a testicular cancer survivor, they removed his nut and he recovered fine. He was a US Marine (Gorilla warfare etc etc) and once he got sick and was recovering his test was super low, he was not the same, his life was terrible. He wasn't on TRT for a couple years and as a result he was miserable. He's been on TRT for 15 years and his quality of life improved immeasurably.

Don't fuck around with being low test. Best of luck to you and hopefully it never comes back

Non-stick cookware refers to cookware that has a chemical coating so that food doesn’t stick. Teflon is the brand name for one type non-stick cookware, but many other companies also make non-stick cookware.

Some studies show that heating non-stick coatings to 300°C (572°F) can create fumes containing tetrafluoroethylene (TFE). The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) classifies TFE as a probable cause of cancer, and the National Toxicology Program (NTP) classifies TFE as “reasonably anticipated to be a human carcinogen”.

Perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA), is a chemical used in the manufacturing process of non-stick cookware. Based on limited human and animal studies, IARC classifies PFOA as a possible cause of cancer. Research on TFE and PFOA is ongoing.

Though non-stick coating can sometimes flake off into your food, there is no evidence that eating these small quantities is harmful.

Fuck me, but isn't these PFCs something of old news and banned? And isn't Teflon technically a material type?

But I mean that black coating for non-stick pans, but besides that, what can we fucking use that is known to be safe?

But anyway, I'm more worried about other stuff, for example I've been regularly using that plastic cover for microwaving stuff and not letting humidity and chunks out, I'm thinking one problem could having vapor condense over the cover and fall back on the food (what it is supposed to do).

Another possible problem I'm suspecting is those insect repellent thingies you let overnight, where I live mosquitoes are a big problem and I do tend to use somewhat frequently, and I can bet some older brands from when I was a kid could be even more damaging.

> Teflon technically a material type?

PTFE ("Teflon") is biochemically inert and stable under room-temperature conditions, not quite so stable at certain elevated temperatures as >>144323 mentions. Flakes of Teflon getting into your food ARE harmless. The bioavailability of ingested Teflon is essentially zero. It will simply come out the other end.

> what can we fucking use that is known to be safe?

Plain stainless steel, copper, or cast iron pans are safe, if they're actually those materials. Don't buy your cookware from China. There are some newer ceramic non-stick coatings that SHOULD be safe, but most of these are made in … you guessed it … China. I don't advise letting Chinese anything touch your food unless you want lead poisoning.

>cast iron pans are safe

I would sincerely disagree. Not only does cast iron increase the chances of iron overload and its associated degenerative diseases of metabolic defects and aging by putting extra iron in the food, but the iron particles may react with various substances—particularly lipids—to create toxic byproducts.

> Not only does cast iron increase the chances of iron overload and its associated degenerative diseases of metabolic defects and aging by putting extra iron in the food,

This can only happen if you already have metabolic problems. In biology, iron is a precious metal. There are no mechanisms to remove iron from the body other than loss of blood. This should not be too surprising, considering iron's critical role in oxygen transport in mammals.

As a result, the uptake of iron is VERY strictly regulated and most bioavailable iron in your diet is simply lost out the other end because you don't need it right now and can't store it for later.

> but the iron particles may react with various substances—particularly lipids—to create toxic byproducts.

This is a possible concern, but I wouldn't worry about it unless you can cite actual known reaction mechanisms. Humans have been cooking in iron pots for centuries. I suspect that we have tolerances for those toxic byproducts much like we have tolerances for certain amounts of cyanide and formaldehyde.

If you are worried about iron like this, then stainless steel is also out, since it is primarily … yep … iron but with various other metals, particularly chromium, alloyed in.

That leaves copper, which is probably not too dangerous, but doesn't work on induction cooktops due to insufficient electrical resistance and can produce potentially toxic oxides.

Also, copper, silver, and alloys containing those metals exhibit the ogliodynamic effect. If you're paranoid about cast iron, do you really want to put your food in something that is self-sterilizing over a period of a few hours?

There's also aluminum, but I really shouldn't need to tell you how recently that became widely available and its … questionable … safety.

Aluminum is so reactive that bioavailable aluminum on Earth has been zero for millions of years at the least, with nearly all of it bound up in aluminosilicates. There's a huge amount of aluminum on Earth, yes, but it requires high-temperature electrolysis to extract from ore … a process that has not been available on a large scale until the invention of the electromechanical generator.

Free aluminum ions are horrifically toxic to plant roots, but aluminosilicates are commonly known as "dirt" in the English-speaking world. Metallic aluminum appears stable because it instantly "burns" upon exposure to air, forming a thin surface layer of aluminum oxide that seals off the bulk of the metal and prevents further combustion.

I would be very reluctant to trust this "native oxide" with aluminum cookware, but would be far less concerned about anodized aluminum, which has an artificially produced and much thicker oxide layer. The problem then is, again, trusting that the process was done correctly.

Don't buy your cookware from China.
