Honestly it's a little hard to hear with all the constant chattering and laughter going on in the background, and since I'm currently on my phone, I can't really rewind the video as accurately as I'd like, but from the sound of things, it seems there were some pretty mixed feelings regarding his death, some felt bad and regretted it, others were feeling pretty giddy and laughing a lot, possibly from the adrenaline of having just watched a man drown too death in urine. With this knowledge, the assisted suicide theory seems to hold up, of course we won't know for sure unless either one of two things happen; one, an accurate translation from a native speaker arises, or two; someone asks the owner of yapoos market to verify if the dude died.

We'll never know for sure if he did die or not, but based on the translation alone it seems the contract he signed was meant to absolve them of any responsibility should anything go wrong, which if the video is to be believed, things did go wrong and Asano was planning on things going wrong, but once again, we don't really know, it is a bit sus of them not to have posted a follow up on the guy to let the viewers know he was okay but maybe that was just so they wouldn't ruin the fantasy. In any case, do you happen to have the entire collection of the documentary series? I'd actually like to watch them and see what I can make out of them.
