There was an art student or something who was collecting and comparing old architecture and how it kinda sucks compared to the glass cube and brutalistic designs, although the flat concrete grays and angular designs do invoke a sense of interest, but i think its purely out of oddity than artistic merit

Brutalist architecture is interesting because they are essentially tombs of a lost future, a space-age cosmopolitan socialist utopia that never quite arrived. Also there is something viscerally exciting about the geometric oddity of a brutalist building, living around them you feel like you have seceeded fr nature and from previous cultures, for better or for worse. That's what gets them a strong reaction from a lot of people, both positive and negative.

I can't predict future, don't feel bad about that particular story because since I know myself, how I was at that time, I would screw it up anyway. But I agree, sensitive people have it really hard. when I grew up normies bullied you by calling you names every now and then and showing you you were lowest on the food pyramid. Today it looks like total savagery with no remorse what so ever. She was bullied, parents called school, principal and teachers did not give a flying fuck, eventually she refused to go to school, dropped out for a year and had to change the schools. But I am proud of her because she is best in her class now. Some normies envy her for it. She even has some friends. I always motivate her to find more friends and keep ties with the little friends she has from past times.

she wants to get into informatics. She is smart and this profession has future. I have no doubt she can make it if she wants to. However I fear if she ends up alone like I did, somewhere in her mid 20s she will lose all motivation and just drift around in life without any aim. Both shy and tender and too uptight to confess their love to each other.

Literally worst combo for a girl on planet. I knew these people, I could be telling them all day how it all doesn't matter, that life after school is different but they don't listen. I don't know. It seems to me from my experience and from few girls around me with similar experience, that it's better to have fucked up relationship than keep searching for one until you die. Working for only for money is something that will hopefully die as concept. If you are not making really nice money it wont reward all those pains. What I meant is more like what kind of every person in IT knows and that is that a lot of fields are just pure soul crushers + a lot of things aren't in reality as they are advertised. It's hard, hopefully she will be lucky and find a job where she will be happy or do something that will make her happy, not necessarily be a wageslave.

It's not that easy. My ex begged me for years to quit smoking because she was afraid of me dying and stuff. Quite reasonable, however I couldn't quit for her. I thought I might be able to do anything for person I love, apparently I can't. I had to lie to her often but I think she didn't bought my lies. tldr: self-improvement for other person was a meme in my case
