A number of things. Part of it is honestly cowardice and holding on. I'm pretty sure that consciousness somehow extends beyond this cruel life but other than that I know nothing. Where will I go? What will happen to me as an outer body entity? How long will I be stuck as a ghost circling around watching retards destroy themselves? Will I get bored? Do ghosts have sex or will I be forced to watch someone beat off as I sit there and contemplate this as a punishment for my actions?
At some point it is possible that my threshold of sanity will collapse forever and I'll shoot myself in the head, but what then?

i've hit rock bottom after abusing drugs for a while. i really wanted to kill myself when i was a complete junkie but the drugs were a good cope.
