It was for the first 2-3 weeks. I was drinking until I was falling down the stairs in my house, started smoking cigs again, was doing no work even though people were calling me, started masturbating again, etc. But the last two weeks I completely turned it around, only had a few beers this weekend and other than that I have not drank at all. I completely stopped smoking (using chewing tobacco instead) which has helped me start exercising and running. No masturbation in that period either (even managed to stop my brain during what would have been a wet dream last week). The biggest thing is just finding something to do. Call up your friends who work in construction and see if there is anything you can do with them. If you have a friend with a house that needs some work done, just go work for free if you have any skills. Getting out of the house and active changes your mindset like nothing else. If you can't do any of that stuff, go to bed early and wake up early. Control the things that you can. If you want to masturbate, do push ups instead and the urge will pass. Remember to stay in shape, the collapse of society is almost here!

Quarantine isn't that much of a problem, particularly since I used to be a hikki and did the retarded self-imposed imprisonment thing for more than a couple months at a time.
The actual problem is that my foot is a little busted and I can't just walk it off. I can do squats and everything, and have lately changed from pure bodyweight to using freeweights, so I'm a good deal stronger now than before the quarantine or the injury. But healing has stalled and I realized it won't get any better without a little productive pain, so I have to get my ass out of the chair and do what I can with my foot, which right now is standing at the desk instead of sitting. Do tai chi and shit.
Fapping got out of control, to ~10 times a week, which was still less than a typical week as a hikki. I didn't get into anything weirder than youtube thots thotting around in bikinis, which in hindsight could have been a lot worse. It started to feel like "oh boy, time to get my dopamine hit like a fucking junkie" again, so I'm back on the horse. ~4 days.
I like to try and exercise my perspicacity by thinking about current events and the state of the world and the things I consoom, but this has lately devolved into dwelling upon shit I don't like. I remember now how easy it is for negativity to fester if you let it. Snapping out of it is harder with the future being so uncertain. Or certain to be awful, depending on your perspective. This is probably the worst part of any of it, that when times urgently demand the most sensible and proactive response, I just slumped into "eh, we're all going to die in the coming mad max hellscape anyway. Normies are the real plague and there's no cure for that," etc, etc. Which is probably true, but doesn't mean you should stop trying to "ride the tiger", as they say.

I have been stoned as fuck through the whole quarantine. My mind is a schizophrenic fallout zone from some weird dreams and OBEs that happened and now I think there is a dead zoomer trying to interact with me from the other side. I accepted this as my reality, and since normie reality has obviously failed everyone to such a disgusting degree, I have zero incentive to snap out of this schizo obsession.
I smoke cigarettes constantly. Surprisingly it is not up to a pack a day just yet, usually they last a day and a half. I was working up until May but my boss was retarded and by that point I saved up enough money to tell them to fuck off. Last weekend I sent out some applications but with the recent swarm of violence in our cities, one major one being only a half hour drive away, I no longer suffer from delusions of a peaceful prosperous life here.
I have beaten my favorite video games and watched all of my favorite movies several times over. Pictures on the wall are literally talking to me and I have embraced the voices swirling around my room within distortions of space time. At this point my brain does not recognize it as a LARP and it must have permanent side effects.
My reading consists of Jung, Nietzsche, and I'm tossing between picking up Evola or Zizek next. A smart man would have taken the an hero pill by now, but I press on.

Man and his symbols is the best entry level book for his work. If you like Jung and that type of subject matter i`d heavily recommend Joseph Campbell`s hero with a thousand faces too and maybe Passport to magonia and daimonic reality, those are really fun books, at least for me, i am very into folklore and unique interpretations of myth. Jung even has a really cool book about aliens with a cool take on that phenomenom.
