I don't want to be a shill, but apparently there's a new gold standard for suicide: the DeBreather. Since there's a bunch of suicidals here, Including me, I thought I make a thread about it.
I don't know, if the retailer is legit or a scammer though, but it has gotten an entry in the Peaceful Pill Handbook which is something like the Bible of suicidals and that is a good sign. Still, exercise caution.
The debreather is a pretty simple device. its just a closed air circle that runs through a lithium chamber that filters out the CO2 from your breath. You breath a few minutes until all the oxygen is out of the circle and eventually all the O2 is used up and you only breath Nitrogen. The point of the device is to filter out the CO2 which would make feel like you're suffocating.
The thing is out since yesterday and costs 175$ + shipping. Its perfectly legal in most countries, although no idea if customs somehow interferes anyway.
I leave a link to the retailer. its based in the USA: https://www.right2die.org/
Here a video to visualize the device: https://www.right2die.org/wp-content/uploads/videos/moon.mp4
Im aware that this looks sketchy as fuck and haven't bought it myself, at least for now. Im waiting until legitimacy of this has been confirmed.
Here the Twitter that brought it to my attention in case you want to do research: https://twitter.com/PeacefulPill

Have you noticed how govt makes it intentionally complicated for you to end yourself? Especially in Yurop, the gayyest continent of the world where you will soon need govt permit to buy kitchen knife. At least you americans have the freedom to drive to grand canyon and blow your brains out with a 12 gauge shotty.
One could think that govt thinks of his cattle as his own property and they don't want it to get damaged. Because you know, cattle that does not work anymore cannot generate tax profits anymore. Fuxk this gayy planet.

Most Americans that do not live near the grand canyon could never afford to drive there. Because of gun laws in different states, a US citizen may be arrested before they even get there on suspicion charges. The idea of ending one's life in the hypothetical manner you described isn't accurate to how self termination or 'freedoms' in the USA work in practice. It say more about the false image most of the world sees as 'merika than the hell hole my country has become. In my experience, most opt for sleeping pills if they're not feeling creative, or even courageous enough to use a firearm or jump off of a building.

Really depends on which country we're talking about. Here in Austria you can buy a shotgun at age 18 without any license needed

Do you know if there are any age restrictions for buying a DeBreather? When I tried to buy The Peaceful Pill Handbook, it said that I have to be at least 50 years old.

I was just recovering from my incredibly severe depression and when I thought I was gonna make it I got severe deafening tinnitus on my right ear out of nowhere and now I can't enjoy music, the only thing that was keeping me alive. I'm already 30 years old and I have no job and nothing to look forward or enjoy anymore. It's really over for me.
I've been waiting a lot but the Debreather still isn't ready. What the fuck is taking them so long?
Also does anyone have more resources to talk freely about suicide and methods? I used to lurk 8/suicide/ but it's obviously not there anymore. Tor is fine too.

That's not how it works. Even if I used my left ear, I have a constant EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE whistle in my right ear that I can't tune out, 24/7. I can't just plug my right ear and make it stop so I can use my left ear.

Ive gotten really good at countering these people who use terms like “real job” “why dont you do something about it” “why arent you doing my chores” “you are my property” “you just didnt work hard enough” . Like really fucking good. I thought they were unbeatable but these people have been getting astrally curbstomped. Society is slavery and soon you will be able to call things like they are .

You can still hear things at least. It's not worth killing yourself over. You're not blind and deaf like those twins who were euthanized. I know it's not an ideal situation, but I know people who have hearing problems that they just learned to put up with.

Yeah, I know because I've had it all my life and I managed to get used to it. But that's only because it was relatively mild. This time it got so intense I don't think I'll be able to bear with it. There are different intensities to it and most people with tinnitus actually have a mild case of it. Worst thing is that it's not noise induced, it just happened randomly so people will blame me for not taking care of my ears even though that's not even the cause.

Sorry for the double post, it didn't let me delete. By the way I think you're right, in the sense that it's better than being deaf/blind. Other people deal with worse shit even. I just feel like a dumbfuck, I complained all the time about shit that was totally fixable and I was a cunt to my parents even though they always were there to try help me fix my issues. But now that I'm stuck with something that's most probably permanent I can't go back. It's the first time I've felt this.

I don't get why someone would end their own life and not take someone they hate with them. Normally, you'd be imprisoned, so it's the only time you can have this freedom without the consequence of imprisonment.
