This "I want to be a psychopath" stuff is usually a code word for "I'm self-absorbed, but I pretend to be nice for social reasons to the point that I have actually convinced myself that I'm nice. But my life is also kind of shit, and I know that if I stopped procrastinating and did stuff, I could be a lot more successful." The problem is that this is a rather self-defeating question. It implies that you're a very kind person - yet a very kind person wouldn't want to hurt them for your own gain, and thus would not have this desire. I'm sure the image of being a psychopath sounds cool to you, but I doubt you've actually imagined hurting innocent people and disappointing your family.

I had thread like this one few months back. Not asking how to become sociopath, just less of a crying tree and savior for everyone. Only very recently I realized that what I truly wanted was to be more empathetic towards myself., and it works without me being asshole to everyone. I just wanted to say that pretty much if you can find time for yourself, you will be less bothered by being altruistic. I guess it works like pay off. If your whole life you tried to be nice and help people but you hate yourself, one day you get tired of it because there is no one to hold your back (often because you don't allow people to actually be near you and don't allow them to help you when you need it). Like in everything, balance is the key. If you can reward yourself, you will be more rewarding to those around you because it's easier to share "food" when you are not hungry. I'm a strong believer that humans are born innocent. And often they get corrupted early on.
No matter what life has in store for your childhood, the person grows up disdainful.
You have children who never get told "no!" and grow up thinking they are some kind of king or princess that can do whatever they want, with their ego imploding.
Some never receive much love and therefore also don't have much to give.
Others are drowned in too much and spiral in a whirlpool of accumulating frustration.
And it's not just the experience that devolves humans. It's also the worldly needs that we are bound by. We are only ever as willing to be morally upright as our self-set quality of life is ensured. Once this quality is threatened or disrupted, we are indistinguishable from animals in our behavior. Robbing, destroying, killing, it's all not a big deal at that point.
Honestly speaking, even if you imagine all of the bad sides of humanity, it's extremely likely that you still can't convince yourself of the sheer malevolence that defines humanity, nature and the world. I've had this problem myself where I just couldn't bring myself to push beyond this point where I simply know how fucked up people are, how the world inherently favors people who are ruthless and yet I still could not find a spark of motivation for me to accept this situation.
It's a feeling of resentment towards how the world is constructed that broils up your values because the shitty behavior that defines so many humans is just not what I want, not how I want to act. You have in the back of your head that there could still be a better way for things to go, the world could be a much better place if there simply were other rules in place or every human was willing to play fairly.
So simply realizing that you need to be ruthless and even wishing to be more ruthless is not enough to change behavior. You need to accept that you are not this kind of person that can be passionate about actively seeking out to harm others for your own gains and instead turn your back on this world.
Fuck the people that support and accept the world to be like it is.
Fuck all of those that tag along.
You'll soon find that you are left with very few, close to none like yourself.
Because most everybody else accomodates to the environment like you are trying to do right now. They either had it in them from the beginning and drain from others. Or they didn't and tried convincing themselves that being like the other hyenas is the only reliable way, ultimately still failing beyond being a sub-par hyena that hardly manages to get by.
By developing the mind of a lone wolf you will, automatically over time and sooner than you think, adopt a way of thinking through your resentment of others that opens up a pathway for you and grants you access to the hatred for others that you needed to be able to be ruthless. And you don't need to throw away your empathy or your morals for it. You embrace them.
Just reframe the positive that stems from your morals into the negative.
It's also an incredible help to constantly see or experience how other people act ruthlessly.
That's all you have to do. It clicked within a few years.

I just have friends I see here and there sometimes once every year, two or more but nothing ended between us. When we meet, it's always good. On top of that I'm comfortable being totally alone, so friends are not something I think about at all. I see friends like any other human - you spend some time together in life, it's all good but if they are not around I'm indifferent. Truth is though, that finding open person enough to be able to show each other how big failures you both are, that's rare thing and in order to have it, you have to meet new person, go through phase of wearing stupid masks and after you get good friends you will start joking about that time when you tried to suck ice cube with your asshole because it was part of some bet (actually it wasn't you did it just for lulz), do you know what I mean? Friendships are nice but I try to not judge people anymore and be mad on everyone who decides we shouldn't be friends. I'm aware of my flaws and I was always really open about them, because if you get the dirty laundry off the table first, those who are not going to run away have potential of trve friendship.

Try to build new relationships with arbitrary, personally selfish, and/or abstract goals. Minimize personal risk. Perform social maintenance as a calculus of investment for future exploitation.
Little by little perhaps you'll develop the ability to make a major personal deception without flinching or remorse.
I'm not sure that turning a heart-heartening switch will make you a more effective individual. Its not as if many doomers get the chance to be a significant saint or villain. I'm not sure changing your level of empathy at this stage of the game is going to make much of a difference in the ways you'd hope to change.
