I never tried making a post here before;
But allow me to explain: I have been suffering with suicidal thoughts for several days now
2 weeks tops, and I am about to fucking go through with it but before I do is there anyway
to block those thoughts out or at least ease the pain?

sorry but I have no idea what might help
I got them for the very first time in Jan. 2017 and they never went away.
Only thing you can do is to distract yourself the best you can
sorry op

You can learn how to live with them and they will become weightless, in other words you will think about suicide the same way as you think about wiping your ass.

Honest acceptance of death is true freedom. If you're ready to die and you have nothing to lose and no one to protect, you may do anything under the sun without fearing repercussion.
This realization can be life-affirming. If ever there was something you were fond of in your life, find it and devote yourself to it. Better yet, make something new and personal and devote yourself to it, even if no one understands it, even if you never mention it to a soul. Live the rest of your life as a protracted suicide, in which you slowly sacrifice your miserable physical existence and channel it into something that *you* value.
Or just have fun with your newfound superpower… Some fun examples might include:
>radical honesty towards everyone, including your boss, family, etc. laugh as the mask is dropped.
>trying different personalities on different days, see what happens
>experimenting heavily with drugs
>extreme kindness / extreme cruelty. help people whenever you can and ask nothing in return, or torture those you hate and make their lives hell.
>read. suicide has a longstanding place in the western philosophical tradition and is the subject of many great novels.
"The thought of suicide is a great consolation: by means of it one gets through many a dark night."
Accepting death and even longing for it can be a gift. Make of it what you will. I will only take my life when this pain becomes unbearable.

There are positives expressions of christianity, Tolstoy is one of my favorite christian writers. I agree that the glorification of religious wars posted by many christians is disturbing!
Gnosticism is interesting also, even if you don't like religion, it's just fun to think about even if you don't believe in it. Ufology could be a fun pseudo religious escape too, but don't drink any kool aid!

This. I'm not really religious but I like God as philosophical concept and to play this mind games of "what ifs", think about possible outcomes in scenarios where God is out there somewhere. I believe it's not so uncommon among credible philosophers, where they work with concept of God in some broader context for the sake of getting to the core of why the fuck are we here and what's our purpose.

I'm just checking to see if you are still here with us fellow doomer.
It looks like people have left you with some good tips to struggle through this. Remember, it is a struggle and always will be, but making it through another day can be a victory in itself. I like to think of it as a battle in my head. If I win, then I'm rewarded with another day reading, playing video games, watching movies, and looking at hot women on the Internet.

A lot of that is just cringe teens and guys in their 20s yearning to fight for something that they feel represents opposition to everything wrong in the world.
There are mystical and philosophical concepts that are probably beyond them that might help you find something with much more depth.

i've felt the barrier that kept me from having those thoughts lifting up about a year ago and when i think about it, i have pretty solid reasons to take that path if it ever comes to that.
i've found out that depersonifying yourself to an unhealthy level and acting as if you don't exist kind of helps, at least for me.

Culture. Music, books, movies, nightwalks. Learn how to draw if you have any talent for it.
There's little to do about depression other than to just wait until it passes. Spend that time well, it is the only thing you will regret.

why would you want to block them? not sure if this will help, but i managed to transform my suicidal thoughts into moments of calmness.
i let my thoughts resolve, when i imagine myself sitting on the metro's railroad and the train about to hit me, i let myself sink in the fantasy, i try to feel the fear and the
stress of my body as the train approaches. When it finally hits me, i see the character i represent as something else. i felt the pain of death and now i'm not myself. i'm dead, all my worries disappear since i am now dead. when i regain a grasp of reality, it is as if my previous self just committed suicide and a better version of myself is reborn into this madness.

This isn't working for me anymore. I somehow lost contact with ways feeding my soul. I'm not more pragmatic, not more of a realist, just much colder. It truly pisses me off to be honest, that I can't feel things I felt before.

So I searched for the gateway stuff, and listened to the first and second tape. They actually worked. Read the Kybalion after that, and I can't say that I disagree, up to a certain point you could sum up lots of STEM stuff for example in some of the hermetic principles/axioms.
I'm going to start meditating. Do you have any recommendation for using these things to help with health issues? I have a chronic health problem that while it isn't life threatening is very annoying, pills did nothing to it.

Look into panentheism/cosmotheism. It's really what my entire worldview is centered around. I will try to give you my interpretation here in a greentext.
>everything all together as one all encompassing whole (including all possible universes etc.) is God
>God is a "gestalt" (a whole which is more than just the sum of its parts)
>God may or may not be conscious, basically there is no way for us to possibly comprehend whatever this unified one (or monad) really is or the nature of it and how it experiences itself
>you and everything around you are therefore part of this monad/God
>people/animals (rational actors basically, things that can make choices and interact with their environment) are also part of God and I think of them like cells in your body
>some cells are good and help the body function (like liver cells)
>some cells are cancerous and even though they are part of the body, do great damage to the body as a whole
>meaning of life is pretty simple, you are born, you build yourself, you put something into the world (work/family/whatever), you share your knowledge with those younger than you, then you die to make room for more people, it really is that simple
>good people also sometimes must fight the cancer killing the world, which is almost always other people
>who is good and who is bad is up to you, that is part of the "building yourself" component of the meaning of life
>suicide is only justified if you are rationally aware you are doing harm to the world around you
There's more to it, but that is the basic idea. Evolution and genetics play a huge role in it for me, but it makes the most sense IMO. I still want to kill myself, but I know it isn't justifiable and would only hurt the people who do care about me. It would make me more cancerous and therefore is unacceptable.
