its like the universe is a tech nerd, who can make AI or robots, but doesn't ask itself, "SHOULD I do this? Will this go wrong? Will I create an experience that every single creature, without exception, suffers from?"

NO

like those fucking nerds in silicon valley, it makes it because it can, and now we have ringworm and tranny kids and everything going wrong.

NICE ONE ASSHOLE

You are right on point, humans do this as well without asking if it's even a good idea. Okay, few of them put it out as rhetorical question and I have to say that idiot Musk is little bit more vocal about dangers but it's not enough because at the same time he is participating in all of this nonsense.

A lot people often say that life/existence is good by itself because it's better than non-existence. It's sort of generally accepted view, maybe because if you start asking "but why?", the answers are really not pretty to such a degree that even philosophers who dug into this stuff had to come up with some solutions to help them deal with this - "well okay, existence is really pointless BUT that's what helps you to realize you are free, it gives power over your destiny blah blah". Even though I personally can admire some mechanisms in nature, I tend to be very radical when I say that no, the prettier solution is if nothing would exist whatsoever. However, there is this problem, that this is not our case - things exists and we have to deal with it - by only this point, the existence is inherently fascistic. I'm not buying into that all loving view, that life is great because it's miracle, that existence is beautiful just because everything exists. Nature/universe and its mechanisms are the most cruel cold thing you can imagine, life is struggle limited by these rules and the real blackpill is that it won't be better if we would become our own gods, able to cheat the laws of nature, living for the sake of life itself or even "making from life our bitch". This is a never ending prison and the only hope you can have is that realists have a point that after death there is nothingness.

Most people who are self aware wont admit it but will go through with making a kid anyways because most people at their core are selfish.

I think that its purely up to preference. I am innately terrified of non-existence; no moral footwork will make me feel any other way. Objectively it would be better for me to not exist, as then I wouldn't face this terrible dread, however since I do exist, I am compelled to continue to exist because of it.

Is having a baby really selfish in the context of normal people? as the American said above, most people are pretty unaware of philosophical questions regarding the usefulness of life, plus there's the push for having babies by most parties in your life (family, friends) that make people go "eh, sure, whatever, I'll have a baby"

People are indeed selfish but I never saw the act of making a child a selfish act. Face it Abortion exists because women are eternally life hating assists who would rather put herself before giving birth to a potential great thinker, artist or innovator because she values personal wealth (material) over wealth of people (immaterial)

<pretty unaware of philosophical questions regarding the usefulness of life, plus there's the push for having babies by most parties in your life (family, friends) that make people go "eh, sure, whatever, I'll have a baby"

I tend to claim that it is indeed selfish act in a lot of cases, if not all of them because you are the arbitrator in POSSIBILITY of creating new human being (self-aware if lucky).

>I want to have a kid because subconsciously I desire meaning of life which could kid provide to me

Selfish even if you are not aware of it

>I want to have a kid because consciously I am aware that kids could provide me meaning (and also family/friends/political party told me I should have kid to be happier/to make my nation happier)

Selfish and spooked

>I want to create a new life, a kid because I think it's beautiful thing in life

Selfish decision made by you, your moral reasons are spooks

>Kid is not planned, it just happened or victim of rape - but YOU still decide to keep it/but YOU decide to abort it

Selfish decisions made by you

However, you can push it even further:

>I do not want to have a kid never in my life

Selfish but without collateral damage (the poor kid you would have), also you might argue that since "you must have a baby" is a spook, then you don't have any implicit responsibility in this regard and ignoring this question is not a selfish act. Counter argument to this is that your only goals as nature intended are to survive and to reproduce, so make your pick.

Beautiful thought play of morals/spooks vs. ego. I'm just thinking about it loudly, not trying to make statement, disagree if you wish. However, it's really shit topic because what may appear as act of your own egoistic needs/desires/decisions, might be viewed as doing what is right/wrong (morals) or being responsible etc. My key point is that since kid has no way of telling you "please I do not want to be born/please I want to be born", then you have no other choice than to decide for it to be/not be born, which is imo selfish, not necessarily in bad sense.

I can unironically like women who are such a nihilists/realists/whatever that they refuse to have children for the sake of not bringing any more existences to this world. In past it used to be edgy (and I guess in /pol/ circles it can still burn few asses) but I would call it nowadays even admirable to be honest.

Even if the potential would be a correct point, then after going through this school system braingrinding process, there is very slim chance potential of that child would reach some results. But do we really need more thinkers, artists and innovators? Those words have very vague meaning and are not guarantees of quality.

Or you could end up like Josh Packer:

>Grace's younger brother, Josh Packer, now 14, told jurors the only way he can bear his loss is if adults know her story and then act to prevent child abuse.

>He said in a statement read by a detective that if his big sister was told she could save other kids' lives by giving her own, she would ask, "What do I have to do?"

>"Watch out for all the kids so that a loss like Grace's loss never happens again," Josh wrote. "Do your best to help kids who can't help themselves."

>That's not what happened in Grace's case. Sara Packer and her husband at the time, David Packer, adopted Grace and Josh in 2007. The couple cared for dozens of foster children before David Packer was sent to prison for sexually assaulting Grace and a 15-year-old foster daughter at their Allentown home, about an hour outside Philadelphia.

>Sara Packer lost her job as a Northampton County adoptions supervisor in 2010 and was barred from taking in any more foster children. But child welfare authorities did not remove Grace from the home, despite evidence of abuse. The Pennsylvania Department of Human Services launched an investigation after Grace's murder but its findings have not been made public.

This leads into:

>>20663

We don't need more people period IMHO - especially if they can end up like Josh, and they usually do. Devani, Victoria Martens - countless kids getting failed by the system, and nobody cares, nobody even bats an eye. Even the "politically aware" anons on imageboards don't care. Necro, I know, but literally none of those reasons apply to my parents. They still haven't even told me why they got married. It's like they were two randomly generated Sims or some shit and just happened to procreate. To this day, I literally know nothing about them other than that they had me. I have no baby pictures, I have no child pictures, I have no home movies, I have no memories. I salvaged what little was preserved over the years (my mother was insistent on just tossing it all, the little pieces of art I made as a kid FOR them, while my father insisted on keeping it, the one time he actually remembered he was a father I guess). I don't know if I'm an accident, an illegitimate child….I just sorta exist.

How about just STOP FUCKING irresponsibly and forcing others to PAY for murderous "solutions" through lawmaking?

Try some other activity rather than rubbing parts together, and bathing in stinking body fluids.

It IS a rather sorry attempt to feel temporary, useless stimulation.

Try to accomplish something

OTHER than fertilizing a seed that should have run down the inside of a thigh and been washed down a drain.

Karma doesn't care who she visits, its all just action.

Fighting to legalize the erasure of your stupid action, once it becomes a living replica of you, is ON YOU.

Yes, why not make laws to destroy your own species? Why not Fight for that right?

you stupid, stinking, wet, slimy half wits.

Why not Fight to wipe out your own because you're too stupid to avoid getting knocked up?

And then..

Yeah, how about make everyone who is NOT as stupid as you PAY for it?

It's your RIGHT, right???

If the ones who are intelligent enough to prevent getting knocked up disagree, scream in their face. They must be morally bankrupt to DISAGREE with the geniuses who vow to never stop fighting for the right to legalize destroying the human species..

Maybe you SHOULD pray, although, you're most likely one of the "A" words that legitimize your superiority over others, and prayer seems silly…but, maybe you should anyway.

Pray in your "next life" YOU will run down the inside of your mother's thigh, prior to fertilization. Pray the karmic debt, the disastrous fate you fought so hard to legalize, in this life might pass you by.

Torn from limb to limb, by a vacuum.

Boiled in soup, some old fart gobbling you up thinking it'll keep his dick hard.

Your parts contributed for research.

Or, born into the cesspool of "sales" for flesh.

YesSSSSS, fight for your "right" to desssstroy your speciessss.

Karma is patient and humans are pleasure seeking idiots when the magnetic juice is amped, because they decided that the tall buildings, technology and electricity the humans have managed to construct are evidence that they, themselves are God, so there is nothing to answer to (??)

Yesssssss, by all meanssssss.
