I was a go getter at 24. I had a hot girlfriend, a decent job, participated in hobbies, traveled often, and enjoyed a vast circle of friends.

I hit the wall around 30.

I might say again something very edgy but I was genuinely thinking about it for a while. I think if you are truly a doomer and still you have a bit of life left in front of yourself, and also if you are not too dumb by nature to believe anything still matters in this world, then I think you can be "smart" enough to delude yourself into swallowing the blue pill. I mean smart not in a sense of "it's smart thing to do" but in "you are smart enough to be capable of completing this act". This picture is not so far away from what I'm trying to say:

I don't like the honk meme or whatever the fuck that is but the idea of clown world isn't too abstract, so maybe if you are still missing some form of "go get" mentality, maybe you can pick the other side and just go all in clown in some bitter irony, while taking it dead serious at the same time. The point is that you can at least roleplay if you have nothing to look forward to in future. Many of you are very young, maybe you can larp as zoomers and deluding yourself to enjoy zoomer music and fucking zoomer chicks (which btw sometimes honestly make me regret I'm not 18 anymore) and maybe you will find some reason to keep trying - the core point is that you have to turn your brain off and stop judging the world while also becoming the judged by others + not giving a fuck.

There is nothing particularly useful in this world which would be interesting "project" to work on, so I guess all there is left can be being clown in costume or continuing in life you have as usual (or ending it or making political ideology your identity). Situation in society seems to favor more individual benefit (trade off is that you have to be part of some group anyway) and it goes more insane day by day, norms are pushed too fast, etc. Again, I'm not shilling here, I don't care what you do with your own life, it's just random bullshit thought and I don't even know what I'm trying to say here.

tl;dr if you are tired to be go-getter for the "better world" and you have no life goals whatsoever, there is an option to be go-getter for the "clown world" and waste your life away as clown

I was two weeks sober and today I just had a depression attack and then I bought a bottle of wine. It's convinced me that there is something chemically wrong with me. The depression was brought on me from the fact that I'll never have the body I want because my genetics are objectively trash. Unless I did steroids, and in that case I'd likely have to be on TRT for life if I wanted to maintain it. But the weird thing is, those thoughts of dissatisfaction with my body come up pretty often, and usually I can think of some positives in my life to counter balance. But every two weeks or so, especially on a cloudy day, my brain just tells me I am trash.

Just because someone wants to be a kid again, that doesn't make them arrogant. It just means that's when they felt most comfortable with themselves - me personally, I'd rather have been born in another century. Sure, would I miss some modern shit? Nobody is denying that. What people here hate is how nothing gets done about the shit that compels them to have them. I liken it to Emile Zola and Victor Hugo, who literally said in their books that they were essentially desperate for answers as to why the world was what it was, and nobody cares. THAT is what a lot of doomers are like - we are just like them, but we don't even have the talent to convey our despair as they did. Nobody knew that automation, AI and computers will make human labour redundant one day. Some parents just think:

Of course normies took that for granted and multiplied to the maximum limit that industry could feed. Then one day they just pulled the plug and you suddenly have an excess of 30K workers in town.
