I've been thinking a lot recently. What if I don't want this crap? Some things have to be done, if you understand me, don't want to really talk about this here but what if:

<this life won't solve anything and you will be just doomed on your own
Do you know what I mean? Few of us have here some, let's say, plans for something in future in our life, and preparing for it.
Tl;dr I don't know anymore if I care about survival more than I care about doing what has to be done, I'm just a shit of dust in the universe and maybe being gone is something I desire more than being here but before every man is gone, he has to sort things right and do what is right thing to do.

As far as I can make out, people who don't want these things tend to not want them because they have become disillusioned through seeing what they "really" are all about. For example, you mention having a wife and kids - some doomers, like myself, don't care for these because we've had no positive examples of having them; our parents were worthless cretins who don't even know why they even got married, let alone have kids, and our siblings may be favored by them for some arbitary factor (in my experience, my NEET brother was favored over me, the one who actually graduated high school). They look around and see countless families as a whole just looking so uitterly dysfunctional that they don't understand why anyone would want one themselves, and even if you DO luck out, and you find a decent woman and have some good kids, who's to say it won't all be lost somehow? We live in a world governed solely by luck - you could have an all American, future star (insert sport here) player, son one moment and he could be killed overnight by a drunk driver. Some doomers, I'm sure, see that and they wonder what the point of it all is if it's that easy to lose. Then you look all around you, at all the degeneracy and filth, all the assholes and malcontents, and you're like is it really worth it in such a world? You can't even flee like the Pilgrims did because they'll snuff you out for trying to live off-grid unless it's really remote, and even then, it's still a stressful endeavour.

If you're somebody whose parents bickered and argued back and forth to the point they not only couldn't stand each other but made sure you heard that they didn't through all the arguing, yelling, etc, it makes you think damn, I don't want to get married if that's what it's about. Not everyone's like that - they'll get invigorated by such displays and vow they won't repeat their mistakes - but I feel a lot of people are disillusioned because that's all they see. They see unhappy couples, so they make the correlation that love/relationships are objectively worthless, whether that's actually true or not. Maybe I'm just projecting my own feelings, I don't know - I grew up in a pretty shitty way, so I feel like nothing's really valuable to me. I'd love a life off the grid, but if it were honestly up to me, I'd choose not to exist at all, quite frankly.
