How you guys do it in this age? Not only going beyond 24 hours (32) of no sleep is becoming harder and harder but sleeping for more than 12 hours totally fucks up my inner sense for keeping track of what day it is. Well okay, I don't remember it anyway and I have to check calendar daily, even numerous times per day, but it's even worse if I sleep for more than 12 hours. I'm glad there's finally a meme I can fully relate to instead of having a passing familiarity. It's amusing as I have a beany from high school that was been with me every night and I typically wear hoodies and black clothes and long hair, something I would beat beaten for by local savages. I respect the meme becuase it brings hopeless people together where we can just sit in the dark getting wasted knowing we ain't alone I've been in this boat for 10 years now, I'm 31 and I stopped going on nightwalks 7 years ago, my town has a violent night life and after the 2nd time I heard a scream from a woman being attacked (which would often leave me jaded for weeks) I'd try to locate but was often powerless to find any trace. I opted for night cycles instead through dark country paths at breakneck speeds with music, my most spiritual experience was listening to Deadmau5 strobe 1 hour and cycling through thick fog whislt I was pretty much having a breakdown and It healed me so much I couldn't live up to it again and just stopped. Soemtimes tho I'd take a hammock to me fav cycle path and star gaze but the sheep were spooky and cats would follow me will glowing eyes like goblins stalking me lol spooky scary kitty cats.
Since then it's always been gaming. I had an amazing setup for several years where I'd have a 24/7 garage that was a 4 min walk away, groceries delivered to me door with crates of beer, brandy, vodka etc. I only had to leave my house to topup my gas/electric and spend time with my bipolar mother. I get a GOV. cheque weekly becuase I look after her, this pays for my life and gives me time to sustain it. It's exhausting looking after her, especially as I feel "up and down" most days too.
I often feel immasculated thinking about how times I've cried myself to sleep or even just as I'm living through the day, sometimes the tears would erupt into a rage of fury, punching walls and screaming bloody fury at the top of my lungs…. Fury I haven't felt since I raged out in the foster home as a child (I spent 1 year there till my mother could prove she was worthy).

My love for the dark, the night comes from my fear of it as a child. There used to be a closet in my foster home room, an L shaped walk-in closet . Around the corner was pitch black and spooked me out to no end. I feared the dark naturally…. until one day I feared my life more than anything, hated it and wanted to escape, I ran to the place nobody would find me, they all know I hated my closet… I stumbled through the clutter and around the corner and sat in the darkness surrounded by rage and fear… a few seconds passed and I felt nothing but peace, silence and comfort. the Quote of BANE from Batman always comes to mind.

So I'd often find dark places growing up and just lay there and sleep in serene peace. It was a funny cliche in the family, "LOL found Dave sleeping in the airing cupboard again" or I'd find a new spot and chill whilst I could hear my fam looking. I think this is a huge explanation to why I find empty 3AM streets and dark paths so therapeutic in my darkest hours.
To me, once I became a man, My life was still a downhill train wreck, childhood trauma, teenage trauma, adult trauma (which I have no desire to get into), it just never stopped until I decided enough is enough…. Been living a peaceful life away from people for 10 years or so. I thought back on my entire life, WHAT WAS ALWAYS THERE FOR ME? ~VIDYA~
It became so clear, I bought a PS3 (and later a Gaming PC) in the ripe era of Modern Warfare 2 and just as OBLIVION was released and found a new life, forged in pain and anguish that created armour so thick I literally give no fucks about no fuck.
Since then I've always called myself a hermit, recluse… sometimes even 'feral' as such longs times away from society has dehumanized me somewhat. But after all that, I never what EXACTLY what I was, What we are.
Sorry for the wall of text but it's been shit for me lately, more than so. A year ago I got charged with drunked disordely and have to go through counseling to find the root of my drinking and "criminal rehabilitation" for assualting a police officer…. He fucking deserved worse. I was attacked by some punks and when the cops shown up they all said I was just a drunk who attacked them and he took the bait so I kicked him in the balls for the trouble :) alas…. I fear how long my lifestyle will last, this DOOMER existence is all I have and I might lose it soon.

You can replace it with OMEGA3 tablets. I used to do both, eat fish and take the OMEGA3 suppliments to make sure. The 1st few meals are heard as hell, you may feel as tho you want to vomit. Brocolli (half a stem)
Garlic, Chilli if you want, just add whatever flavouring that adds vitamnins and minerals.
(If you want to make a soup, use chopped potatos as your steam bases in the pan. throw in 2-3 chopped potatoes, fill to just aboe the potats and add all the ingredients, cover with foil creating a steam pot, poke a few holes 2-3. This is better for locking in the nutrients as you're not draining the water that contains all the best stuff (I just drink the water later, that's what you'll get used to eventually lol)
For desert, peanuts and a banana.
This depends on the OMEGA3. Without it, it's not as good. OMEGA 3 has the ability to regen your brain cells faster and helps with your joints and lubricates your eyes… EVERYTHING a gamer needs :)
If you eat a basic fish meal, your metobalism will only utilize 10-15% of the OMEGA3 richness but with added vitamins and minerals from multiple sources you can increases that percentage to 40%. This is the shit that chess kids eat.
All you need is a pot, find the right balance of what you can afford and what you enjoy. Use either Brocolli, carrots or potato as a steaming base in your pot, steaming is the best so you don't boil out the vitamins. Stuff like Tomato and peppers, add them half way through. Once the Carrots, Brocolli or potats are cooked it's ready to eat. After that, eat some oily salmon or seafood rich in omega 3. I would just buy tinned salmon thats full of oils then eat OMEGA 3 suppliments.
Not gonna lie, 1st time you might want to puke as I ate the peppers and tomatoes raw, and tinned fish isn't for everybody… it just depends on how much you value your eyes, brains cells and joint health, we're sitting in 1 position all day, our joints deserve it bruh. It can be a bit expensive, so make it a 2 weekly treat.
The Zinc and potassium from the peanuts and banana will be the icing on the cake. Save the peanuts for last to wash out the taste of grass and fish lol

Today I want to dedicate a posting to Ilija, my croatian friend from elemantary. I had to think of him today again after watching the first 13 episodes of the original Dragonball again after many many years.
He was the guy who got me into Dragonball. I knew about Sailor Moon a few years before DB already but nobody of my peers watched it. But i did find the art styles very beautiful compared to western cartoons.
For information, Ilija is our equivalent for Eliyah (engl) or Elias (deu). Ilija is the protagonist of today's story

Every day around 15:00 school was out for the day and we could go home
Ilija lived in the same direction I lived. We had a big public playground where children would gather and play entire day.
Around this playground our appartement buildings were like a fort. This is where I lived.
Ilija lived at another place about half the way between our school and that playground. He was a regular at our playground since it was nearby to his appartemtent complex.
So since we had the same route home and since we were in the same class, it was only natural that we go home together.
And during that time, Dragonball, something new just came to Yurop and he asked me all the time if I was going to watch it too when I came home. In the first few weeks I always said No because I did not know it and did not really get interested in it.
He would from time to time tell me how I had to watch it because it was really cool. He would tell me about the plot but I rarely understood it because for me that was information overload.
And I am bad with memorizing names. So all the characters he named, I could never remember which one he meant.
Then on one fateful day, I said

Dragonball would usually be broadcast on weekday afternoons around 15:30 in the afternoon.
I watched the first episode and I had to admit … This was fucking great. It was like a cartoon version of a jackie chan movie (which I loved)
It was fun, there was action, it was an adventure story and always some new crazy shit was happening.
And it was completely different from western cartoons that I watched until then on saturday mornings we had Batman the animated series on Pro Sieben
By the way, RTL2 was not always a trashy tv station. I remember around the new millenium they would show jackie chan movies on saturday mornings. I loved those. And Ilija loved them too.
The other funny thing was that Ilija was the troublemaker type of boy and he would copy Son Goku's position when he was brawling with other boys.
He was really a diehard fan of dragonball and we would always talk about yesterdays episodes at school and on our ways home we had stuff to talk about too.
A few months later the manga books would come out thanks to Carlsen Comics. I remember at school we had one library lesson per week.
Usually the boys would bring one dragonball comic each and then exchange them. Everyone had 1 book and it was usually that everyone had one that nobody else had. So in a few weeks we would read the entire manga and everyone only bought 1 manga. We were very efficient with this stuff
Then Ilija would teach me shitloads of other cool stuff.
When we went home together, one time he taught me how to spit like a boss. Because you know, that was fun for us.
The secret technique was and he told me, that you have to put the spit on your tongue and then blow the fast you can.
His technique worked even for me and in a few weeks I could spit 3 meters far like a pro.

Another thing he shown me was DSF (Deutsches Sport Fernsehen). A german tv station for sports.
No we did not watch Bundesliga soccer games. What we watched was Monster Trucks I remember Big Foot and Bear Foot and our all time favorite Takeshi's Castle
Those were hilarious shows. One speciality of Ilija was that he would also watch Sumo fights on DSF and wrestling.
I remember he was also crazy about the PSX games of WWF. He loved the Rock do you smell what the rock is cooking? My cousin was a wrestling maniac too. still is tbh.
I was not really into those stuffs but he loved it. If he had to be rude to anyone he would tell him he faps with tweezers like Yokozuna he called them Yokozunas, not sumo
My favorite on DSF was Takeshi's castle. A parkour like game show where a group of people run a parkour and fight Takeshi Kitano in the finale.
The finale game was like they drove on toy cars that had a piece of paper in front and everyone had a water gun to shoot each other cars.
If the contestors managed to hit Takeshi's paper target, they won the round and some prize.
We would also do rascal shit on the playground. We all had bikes and he was friends with 2 other croatian brothers that I befriended too.
We would meet at the playground on weekends or evenings and do bike tours into neighboring counties or towns. Sometimes we were 7 or more bikes in row.
Or we would just trade pokemon cards or play hide and seek. Or policeman and thief. That was the nice thing back in the day. Everything was fun no matter how simple.
The last time I saw Ilija was around year 2010.
He moved into our appartement house a few stories above us. My mother and his mother were friends too. He lived with his mom and brother.
His father died during the war in croatia. I was very proud to be friends with him nevertheless. He always got very emotional about his father for example when one bully mocked him for it.
His brother just bought a brand new Audi car at the time of the soccer cup in Germany. It was a fancy one and he was very proud of having it.
Sadly since elementary we were not that close anymore really. We would still greet each other and talk from time to time but our lives grew apart steadily.
A year later I would move away and we never saw each other again. Only thing I heard was that his brother had a car crash in croatia. He was not hurt but his car was trashed.
For those of you who don't know, the Highway in croatia is completely straight. It goes from Zagreb in croatia to Beograd in Serbia. And because this highway is straight as an arrow, people like to speed there.
My uncle would often drive 180km/h when only 130km/h are allowed there. There were no police and no speed cameras and it was an El dorado for speeders. Not sure about today's situation though.
And another thing I remembered about Ilija.
At school every monday we would take a sheet of paper and draw 4 pictures on it about what we did the weekend.
Then our teacher would let us pin it on the black board and we would tell each other about it in our weekly first lesson.
And Ilija would always have 1 particular picture every single week:

he would literally count how many kebabs he ate in his life. He really loved it and he would always get them at an armenian takeaway in town.
he was a great guy and I wish I had spent more time with him. It was always fun with him.

Funny how something like this can activate so many memories that you thought you forgot already long ago.
