I think the way he sees it is that a culture that allows sexual degeneracy to flourish grows weak and eventually leads to foreign invasions, meaning that Islam wouldn't be a problem in the West if not for the aforementioned issues. Although the effects of having been decimated by invading forces are probably harder to reverse than the effects of furries and sex weirdos being able to run around, all in all I think he both has a point but also is focusing too much on details and not the big picture.

The thing is, any reputable historian today would laugh at that assertion. Like not once has that ever been the case. There's been plenty of instances of sexual deviants being scapegoated over what is just natural entropy/decay. Blaming the normalization of sexual deviation for societal rot is almost always an attempt to avoid diagnosing the proper symptoms of the decay.

Honestly I think the normalization of sexual deviation is both a cause and a symptom of decay. Normalizing hedonism is conducive to addiction and a quest for pleasure that ends up putting aside other elements that keep a society together such as a common ethos. At the same time it's a sign that a society has gotten wealthy to the point that its citizens are no longer satisfied with wealth that just about everyone else in the planet would envy. I don't think his statements are entirely wrong, but it's obviously more complex than that.
