New thread.
Why is it so hard to talk to this guy? Amazi-girl has some skill in martial arts, doesn't she, or am I confusing her with something else? Even still, what's the worst he can do? I get being nervous, but in a situation where you're dealing with a supposed bad guy, shouldn't that be empowering?

Oh I guess that's that arc wrapped up for now. Unless this is just a throwaway gag. Was the pacing always this intolerable? I could swear Willis had a better attention span even three years ago.
Anyway we have yet another insufferable wacky brown girl character going full genderfaggot. The alt-text on this one ham-handedly reinforces that this character is using 'they' pronouns.

If you don't count his wife, the wiki he admins, and twitter I'd place his human interaction at a square zero.
His digestive system has already made an attempt on his life, the rest of his body is weighing its options.

Should have been more specific, he's an admin on tfwiki. All those autistic arguments on Transformers toys he's put into Shortpacked and DoA have pretty much been his perspective on edit wars and shit he's argued about as an admin there. Considering how important arguing about this shit seems to him based on the comics I'm betting a large part of his social interaction is lording over toy nerds.

>>1068282
Yep, he's a major goon. Just look how he draws himself, which is very generous. It would be a violation of some kind to this board to post his IRL pics. Even this self-portrait is cursed, as though he knows how hateable he is and the drawing is deliberately pathetic to somehow deflect what he has coming.
Oh God I just remembered that time in Shortpacked he wrote himself in to pudding fight Ethan over the wiki. He wasn't even an admin at this point, which I think makes it sadder. This one I'll post, since for some reason I went and looked at it.

It cracks me up how overwrought and shitty the tragic lesbians are. Willis can make it as sappy and ridiculously co-dependent as possible and the target audience will lap it up. How did Ruth go from just irritated at Billy for snubbing her to total weepy mess? Where did the booze come from when she would have had it all cleaned out of her room post-breakdown? Is Ruth going to damage her liver (moreso than usual) drinking on the medicine? These are, of course, the wrong questions.

The background made this whole thing confusing. I first thought it was some background noise, people talking or music playing, something like that; then I assumed that had to imply, for whatever reason, that she was only thinking her speech and not saying it out loud, that it was what she "truly" meant but that she was saying something else…
What I'm trying to say is, for one fucking time, willis puts (barely) more effort than usual into his backgrounds, and it actually makes things worse.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Minimum_Drinking_Age_Act
The U.S. came close to lowering the drinking age because of the Vietnam draft but cunts had a knee-jerk reaction about drunk drivers, so rather than try any other solution we got a de facto ban on selling alcohol to people under 21. The exact penalties vary by state but they led to some extreme tightass behavior, and a lot of businesses in my state will card people well into their 40s or make it a blanket requirement to card every single person.

>>1068970
A state with a border close to my neck of the woods had a much lower drinking age up until this bill passed. To this day cops there save their aggression for license plates from our state because of patterns established back then, even at the admonishment of mayors in their big tourist towns for doing so. I had no idea the penalty was only 10%, but I'm sure the actual dollar values that would cost any state were severe.

in some states this is technically a necessity even if most places won't go that far.
for example, a little known law in California says it is illegal to sell alcohol to non-state residents (military IDs are okay). This includes border hoppers from Mexico

Make his grandpa the slant equivalent of a Don, sure, why not. Blaine does have some good blackmail material though if he's been watching.

Clip Studio is actually pretty comfy.
I was first using Krita, the first two pics. But I was having trouble making a straight line which I thought it was mostly my fault.
Then turns out my Wacom could redeem 24 month pro subscription for a drawing software, I thought choosing Corel Draw but if I was thinking Krita was way too overcomplex for me I would be lost with Corel.
And Clip Studio, the other pics, was described as an official comic making software.
It has its own internal Social Network of artist and its own Marketplace of (mostly free) costumized brushes, it is way more intuitive than Krita and I'm not making any mistake I wouldn't do on paper.
But it's install, register and use, the vanilla is more than enough to start working.
The idea in having right now is to make layered anatomy, like, draw the skull sketch then the line art over it, then hide sketch and draw the fleshy face over the skull

Shit you're right. Thanks man.
Honestly I feel like I draw better in digital than I ever did on paper and the reason is simple.
With my monitor I can look straight into the drawing without being hunched over the paper getting in the way of my own light sources.
So I was thinking about stealing art, like drawing over it to memorize proportions. Yay or nay?

I've done it. It can help figure some things out. But I always use a red brush, so that I can always tell if I look back through my sketches.
I'd advise copying real photos/diagrams before art though, other artists styles might look good but any flaws or quirks aren't what you should be copying.
