You might have to water it down. I drink 1 tea spoon of Nestlé's instant crap to 150 mL of water. Which is actually the suggested proportion that on the back for a café au lait, except I'm using water.
IMO more than 1 and 1/2 teaspoons won't make it taste any more bitter, but it will make it taste sour and acidic. Acidity can be cut down with either sugar, milk, cream and maybe salt. But this crap isn't good enough to be drunk like a espresso shot, and I can't imagine it being anything but disgusting once you add enough sugar and cream to suppress the acidity in it. So water it down. Add the slightest pinch of sugar if there's still any bad taste.

You can't. The ass-like aftertaste comes from the process they use to make the coffee instant and is inherent to the coffee itself. The only thing you can do to mitigate it is to find a brand that has the least bad taste and try to mask it with sugar and cream.

In many parts of the world (even those that grow and export coffee) instant coffee is the norm, mixed with a giant helping blob of condensed milk.

>bitterness
those are tannins
it means one or more of three things:
you are using too high a coffee ratio to water
the water is too hot and is burning the grounds
you are steeping the coffee too long and releasing too many tannins into the water
do some web searching to remedy these problems and happy drinking
