Hey folks.
I enjoy watching cooking videos. Got any you want to share?
Not so much worried if they're serious how-to stuff (like Julia or Steven Raichlen), scary (like Simply Sara), comedic (like @Harto), or a mish-mash of everything (Ramsay).
What shouldn't we miss? What greatness should we see again?
Hardmode: Not interested in the videos that don't show food prep. This would exclude things like Review Brah and the travel shows where they show eating (but not cooking).

YouTube embed. Click thumbnail to play. i really enjoy the binging with babish series. all of the food he cooks on the show is from popular movies/tv shows. i like that he actually /`knows what he's doing but doesn't act like a know-it-all chump, and doesn't do anything too fancy with his camera work. also his voice isn't fucking obnoxious.

Tangentially related, but what was the point of that scene in chef? They don't even end up together, He ends up back with the ex-wife bitch. If you're gonna tell me that making a simple pasta is gonna get bitches all over my dick, at least indulge in the nonsense all the way.
Also chef was shit. The movie sucked and they could not have picked a more boring topic to make food porn about.

Gordon is my chef-fu so anything he does is great. I also prefer the UK version of kitchen nightmares to the US version. His cooking style is really simple and applicable to other dishes.

it's supposed to show how he revitalizes his passion in simpler food and loses his reliance on hoity-toity overcomplicated restaurant bullshit, which was pretty much the reason he got slammed in the review. honestly most of the movie was pandering to the whole chef chic angle, but i thought it had some cute scenes. the chafing scene comes to mind.
