Parents have no rights over their adult children. If you as a parent want your children to respect your wishes, take care of you in old age, and make good decisions, then you should raise them right. Too many people are wanting to reap what they haven't sown. Do right by your kids and they'll do right by you.

What if a Christian doesn't have children? Is it a punishment from God?

None of the Christians I know have ever said something like that. What all of them want is afterlife in Heaven with God.
