After ten long years of bloodshed and toil, the Great War has finally come to a close. All gave some, some gave all, and quite a few gave more than that.
The world is broken, with few major nations in existence any more, and most of the minor ones dealing with their own border wars and daughter conflicts.
And you? You're a captain of a ship, stationed far from home, and after years of fighting for the cause, you've decided to make the most terrible decision a captian can make: to raise the black flag, and become a pirate. Adventure, fortune and immortality are yours for the taking, but disgrace and death will forever lie in wait over the horizon.

Captain's name: Aeneas Moriquent (Originally Brian Kennan)
Ship's name: The Blackshield
Ship type: Airship
Original nationality: The British Empire
Current port: Singapore
Fluff: Brian was born in england, with an odd fascination for ancient history guiding him through early life to become a member of the army, obbsessed with the idea of military honor, and the pride of war for your nation. He joined the navy just before the great war, working on all manner of ships before settling onto a destroyer, The Blueshield. As the war passed on, he was heavily involved in fighting, the Blueshield usually fighting by way of boarding, eager for more ship to return to the navy. In the end, the Blueshield was sunk by an airship, which took the men sinking from the blueshield and gathered them up to work in the Airship. After the war had ended, the airship had been heading home to refuel in whatever foreign land it had been sent from, before Brian revolted, leading the now enslaved crew of the Blueshield to take over control of the newly named Blackshield, an airship stocked with bombs and ready to transport Cargo, eager to make a new start in life, in the name of a new empire, glory and honour!

Fluff: Captain's Log: They stopped sending us signals last year. We thought it was a problem with the Telegraph lines. Then the mail and supply shipments stopped. . .and then everything else stopped.
Ships sent to get orders never came back.
Admiral gave up. Ordered everyone to pack up on food and fuel and take the big ships home.
Everyone but us. Of all the people, he ordered us to stay. And that was the last we saw of anyone but us and the natives.
I don't know what happened to them, or what happened to the outside world, but you know, it ain't so bad. Lots of food, lots of sun, the women stay pretty, and we do well.

1. Zames looked out over the area as the british ground troops advanced on the port. It was finally time for him and the crew to go to another port they heard about, one with plenty of gold and oil in the east named Tsingtao. But first, it was time to engage the british aeroplanes…

So while we are in port we may as well try to find a buyer for any turkish slaves or loot we happen upon and bring back here.

And that was the last we saw of anyone but us and the natives.
I don't know what happened to them, or what happened to the outside world, but you know, it ain't so bad. Lots of food, lots of sun, the women stay pretty, and we do well.
I know one thing's for sure though. The men are itchy. Itchy and homesick. Miss some of the comforts of home, and we're low on fuel. Saw some ships on the horizon, too far off to waste fuel on. Next ship that gets in range, I'm thinking we're gonna scratch that itch.

Hmph.
Well, the men are certainly glad for the action. Goddamn, the first bit of action most of them have seen since the whole war began.
Lost 11 good men today, we did.
Apparently, from the cargo ship, we've been able to get the piece of news we've been search for for months.
There ARE still people out there! No word on the Admiral, but the United States is very much. . .alive? Well, these reports are bleak. There is a homeland, and people, and some money but, things appear to be bad.
But there is money. . .and where there's money, there's people willing to sell.
1. If the homeland is as bad as people make it out to be, and to be fair our island paradise IS a still a paradise, then we may as well make our home as nice and comfortable as possible.
This cargo ship seems to have maps of traders nearby. We ought not to test our strength before we've got the means to back it, especially away from our island fortress, and some of these caravans seem pretty tough.
Still, I would love to spice up our island with the comforts of home. Music, News, Booze that ain't made of coconuts, and women.
We got enough little light brown bastards running around the beaches as is.
>Look for somehwere to buy stuff with our money
>Specifically morale boosters. Entertainment, Luxuries, Women, etc.
2. Also from the looks of it, this ship boarding business might be damn lucrative! If we could figure out how not to lose so many men, we were lucky this time they didn't have any heavy firepower aboard.
>Train the men in boarding

Original nationality: Mother Russia
Current port: Vladivostok
Fluff: Born in Saint Petersburg and recognized for her skills in the Baltic Sea as a commanding figure, she was sent east along the newly built railroad system just in time for the first great war. Cold, calculating, and stalwart, her skills proved warranted for a female figure in command and she helped Russia stay Russian for the duration of the war. With the breakdown of her glorious home and her enemies to squabbling states, she decided to stock up on as much vodka and supplies as she could get and head out of port to loot and plunder for the glory of Mother Russia!

Lewis Brown takes a bullet to the face as soon as the door is breached; Morris Halberstram, while dodging an ax-blow, falls off a catwalk and breaks his neck, and young Boris Grimes gets a bayonet to the gut. Other than some assorted scrapes and scratches, the price for the lower decks is only those three.

Two of your shots hit directly amidships! There's clearly panic on the target's decks, and soon it becomes apparent that you did a good deal of damage, but the ship is sinking fast–you'll have to be faster if you hope to gain anything from it.

You continue firing, taking out the rest of their guns, at the loss of three of your torpedo tubes, and one enlisted. You put out two longboats with thirty men in them to raid the town. They land without incident, and begin to move through the town.

Ship's name: USS Lockheed
Ship type: Destroyer
Original nationality: American
Current port: Pearl Harbor
I know one thing's for sure though. The men are itchy. Itchy and homesick. Miss some of the comforts of home, and we're low on fuel. Saw some ships on the horizon, too far off to waste fuel on. Next ship that gets in range, I'm thinking we're gonna scratch that itch.

Looking to join in
Captain's name: Amanda
Ship's name: Poseidon's Fury
Ship type: Submarine
Original nationality: The British Empire
Current port: Falkland Islands
Fluff: The Poseidon's Fury was stationed in the Falklands as a clandestine way for the British Empire to keep in contact with the laboratories in the Antarctica where they researched things where man was not meant to know. However their services were very rarely called for and most of the time the men not on duty spent their time carousing with the natives. Amanda was a daughter of one such union. Only the research done in that forsaken port had effects that twisted her father and many of the men in ways unseen and that in turn twisted her even in the womb. Born inhuman, her power was such that the entire crew, already effected by that which must not be seen, including the captain, became entirely subservient to her will. As she reached maturity she became dissatisfied with her small life on the islands, and pushed by urges she did not fully understand she turned to piracy and adventure.
