Your army's training and equipment is so much better than the partisans that their attacks are brave but foolish, as they are still doing things like horse charges and volley fire. Even though you seized a large area of the Castile/Leon region, you weren't able to actually reach the river Duero theres simply to much resistance.

2. German troops disguised as Spanish forces pulverize your guys in bilbao by using huge, low firing rate machine guns, each giant bullet tearing through defenses and killing several, and a new weapon that has never before been used wholesale, Cloudkill Gas.

Macedonia commits 1&1/2 a fielded division force to the srbijan defense, and launches an absolutely devastating sneak attack on Pogradec, Albania, using fishing boats with a single hidden artillery cannon each.

Serious harm was done to Albania, as one of the top government officials was killed in the shelling of Pogradec, if rumors are to be believed.

1. Things get a bit awkward when Mcguiness breaks his ankle in a fall during the walk after the long 'thank you for being heros' speech, but other than that one small gaff, it turns out to be basically fine, or so you think. The party goes fine, but Mcguiness isn't there due to ankle-break.

3. Recent developments include the Shackleton class Ship and the Mawson class ship. Shackletons are icebreakers. Mawsons have a special gun that fires a sonic round to break ice suddenly with an non-ballistic explosion. Hans Aldung Warnberthier, an Austro-Hungarian minor noble and already a well known artist, mostly known for his simple nature pictures and portraits of very upper class men women and families, paints a gut wrenching picture called 'The Price of Foolishness'.

The painting is a triptych, on the left side, Arabs angrily burn the flags of several European nations as they chop down embassy officials with scimitars and pistols.

In the center image, a town is reduced to crazy swiss cheese buildings that are blasted apart and riddled with both big and small holes, mostly reasonably round holes which appear to have been made by bursting bullets.

Dead center of the image is a huge group of absolutely shredded, blood covered bodies, twisted and mangled all together in such a way as to be one big graphic disgusting mass of difficult to differentiate dead bodies, while small fires burn in several buildings, absolutely no living figures there, men women children and animals shredded and ripped apart like meat in a slicer-shredder. Curiously, one of the buildings has a surviving part that resembles a sun god cross, the dawn rising behind it.

If the right side image, muslim women and girl-children weep in a cellar, one woman who dared to peek out a window, shrieking inconsolable grief, the absolute agony on her face making it obvious that we are meant to believe she looked out and saw the center-image.

The war art is considered to graphic, and like 'Youth Destroyed' it is usually shown with a white curtain, which is only moved for the audience to see the painting for a short time each viewing.
