Blood Money, the ultimate Pirate builder.

Pastebin, Containing all details, not set to expire.

https://pastebin.com/A0bFHyLS

How to read the map.

Light Blue = France

Very light Blue = Creek Tribal union

Red = Spain

Yellow = Portugal

Brown = Carib Tribal Union

Purple = England

Light green = Inca empire

Dark green = Aztec Empire

These factions change over time and after a certain number of years, a new chapter will start, with new factions (and with some old factions exiting).

The goal of the game is simple, achieve wealth prestige and power on the high seas.

In this game you are controlling 1 person who is from a faction you chose, however, because the game is slated to run until 1710 AD, when and if you die, if you still want to play, you simply choose a new faction and gen-up a new character, then play continues.

Additionally, that person you are controlling can rise to any level of status you can reach, including full on independent kingdom state, but will always start off as a more usual normal-person level (social-status) person.

It is presently 1515 AD, the next chapter change is 1560 AD.

Sheet and further explanations in the next post.

1. Flaw removed. (and yes, you do, you'll see).

2. Big Oak was a hold-out, the larger part of the creeks allied with the English, so theres no reason to kill them off and no jobs for that.

3. While you are recruiting in a tavern, a stylish gentleman in powdered wig and blue brocaided jacket arrives, he's much to fancy for this dive and seems very out of place.

The 'fancy lad' produces a large document and the room quiets when it becomes obvious that he is some sort of messenger or newsbearer or government agent.

The summary of the document is as follows.

>Long very formal preamble in which king queen and country are mentioned (England)

>"By the grace of god and the royal authority of the king" etc etc

>"Friedrich Morgenstern is created Baron of Bimini cove, with a land claim of 7 acres there, in addition he shall receive a entitlement income of 21 silver a year."

2 other fancy guys give Fritz a chest containing 4 powdered wigs, 3 jackets, 2 pairs of pants, 3 pairs of clogs, and an entitlement document.

Fritz's social class is now Aristocrat and he now has a 7 acre land claim on the tiny island he just besieged, (circled), as well as a royal bank of England account that gets 21 silver a year.

Fritz -COULD- set up a pirate base there, but flipping between base management and active sailing wouldn't be easy. He would lose his titles and income if he acted against England.

1. Heading near Inquisition-central was the last thing they expected, and you escape the ship that was looking for you, though you have a hair raisingly near-miss with a ship in the night. Thankfully it was night and they didn't recognize you.

2. Some water accidentally gets in the vase of Enkidu, it becomes reekingly strong beer. PARTY TIME!

Also mark 'Vase of Enkidu' as (Magical). It seems to change all water poured into itself into some kind of extremely strong alcohol beverage.

You, and your crew, feel readier than ever for something. Gain a +15 on 1 action of your choice when you do your next turn.

It is now Early Spring, 1516.

New towns have sprung up, as seen on the map, and some old towns went away.

Whale migration follows the same route it did previously, but its now from north to south instead of south to north, and different whales traveling.

Infrequent sudden heavy rain is seen throughout the map.

Winds are going North/East on the left top side of the map, South/West on the right top side of the map, and intermittent east/west and north/south winds spin around all over the bottom side of the map.

Name: Jóhn Ibáñez (Scruffbeard)

Culture: English/Brazilian

Sex: Male

Age: 24

Race: White Hispanic

Fluff: Son of the legendary pirate Redbeard, know across the seven seas for his bright red beard, dyed with cinnabar from the east indies, and his skill with the Hindu Urami he obtained while he was there. John was just a child when his mother, a wench in one of the various taverns on Barbados, was ravished by his father. 9 months later Redbeard was raiding around the cape of good hope, while John's mother was giving birth in the hold of a Spanish Navy ship in a storm off of Brazil. The Galleon ran aground on the rocks near the shore, and john's mother, who having just barely surviving childbirth, was forced to swim with her newborn son and daughter to shore. John was raised in a small village in Porto Seguro, where he and his sister Mariá were told stories of their father by their ailing mother, who had contracted some disease while carrying john and his sister through the jungles of colonial Brazil. John listened intensely to the stories told by his mother, and began to imagine himself in his father's place. The boy was taken by thoughts of a life on the sea, far away from the oppressive heat and mosquitoes of the jungle, and when his mother died just 3 years later when John was the ripe age of 14, he had no qualms of leaving for the sea. His sister followed, as the twins were inseparable, she was disguised as a boy so as to be allowed on the same boat as John as a cabin boy. They sailed the seas for years, traveling as far east as china, and as far north as Iceland. All manner of beast in the sea and air, and even the dead walk once more. It was in the year 1515, when John and his sister were serving on a schooner captain by the most intriguing of germans by the name of Friedrich "Fritz" Morgenstern, and when that maiden voyage ended in absolute oddity with a giant crab brawl, John and his sister thought it prudent to find new captain to serve under. While heading back to port to look for a new ship to join onto when they found the most curious sight. A captain who resembled John in the most uncanny manner, crushed under a piece of shell of a giant crab. John by this point had had enough of serving under captains whom he found incompetent, and harkened back to his youth when he imagined himself as the dashing pirate in those stories his mother told him of his father. So John did what any man would do in his circumstance. He stole the dead man's clothes and returned to his ship, a brigantine by the name of "Cheerly Man", a two masted, 14 gun piece of work. And with his sister as his new Quartermaster, John set out to make his mark on the Caribbean, and eventually the world.

You misunderstand, a needle gun is similar in size to a rifle musket, it doesn't need mounting, it's more like shooting 1 arrow or crossbow bolt at a time out of a rifle.

It can however be mounted. Please confirm whether you do or don't wish to mount it?

You two are now in a devil of a situation, since during the tie-down by the tlazolteotl, the other English ships closed the distance and are now surrounding the Aztec ships.

No one has actually fired yet, but everyone is VERY tense, and then slightest misunderstood word or gesture -is definitely- going to result in a berserk shootout, and possibly one in which everybody loses in some way.

1-3: The first night out you and your crew suffer a -terrifying- ghost ship encounter.

The ship is the "Lonely Billy", a medium sized ship oozing blood puss crude oil and fluid flesh out of its boards as it floats slowly along with it's obviously undead crew.

The obviously undead crew is so undead they sweat out blood puss and black bile, which has caked every part of the ship, the stench so intense it turns even the strongest of men's stomaches. That beings could exist in such a state is terrifying and horrible to contemplate.

The wormy, sickening undead don't seem to be able to see or hear John or his ship, and they don't respond to any attempt to communicate with them, the creatures sweating so much oozing nastiness that they seem to be falling apart or melting, though they are not.

KABOOM!

The ship suddenly ignites, the undead obliviously continuing their ship's drudgery tasks as if it were a calm day at sea, continuing mindlessly even as the ship goes down and vanishes, the sea dangerously riddled with sharks and sea monsters, who eat the roasting flesh of the floating undead.

The most terrifying thing about this however is that John has seen the Lonely Billy before now, in the sea of japan, and it blew up and sank suddenly that time as well.

The men are absolutely terrified, devote 1 action to calming them down next round.

Your present location is: At sea, north of Havana.

No ships or people were damaged in the encounter.

Name:

Guðmundur Jökull Einarson

Culture:

Creek/Icelandic

Sex:

Male

Age:

28

Race:

Lycan (Great White)

Fluff:

Guðmundur was born to a Native of the Creek Tribes and an Icelandic Pirate escaped to the New World in search of a new life of freedom and pleasure. Guðmundur was always an outcast within the tribe and it was not just because of his half-icelandic side. Like his father Einar, Guðmundur was a Lycan with the ability to turn into one of the most deadliest creatures in the ocean, a great white. As a youth Guðmundur would not use his abilities outside of necessity as within the tribe it was believed to be a curse. Due to the other children in the tribe being afraid of him as well as a lot of the adults he has always kept his identity as a Lycan as secret as possible. Initially Guðmundur was quite an introverted and reclusive person but over time would develope into the confident and charasmatic man that he is today. At the age of 12 the course of his life changed forever with the return of his father Einar, he stayed in the tribe for a few months before setting back out on the ocean. However this time Guðmundur was to go with him. It took some time convincing Guðmundur to leave his mother behind, however both parents managed to convince him to go eventually.

The first few years on the sea were a struggle for Guðmundur but with his father to guide him he soon learnt his way around the ship, his father would also teach him about the sea along with how to make the most of his lycan abilities. For many years Guðmundur sailed with his father on the seas and along the way he became more and more interested in the ocean itself and its secrets, this curiosity led to a fire being ignited within Guðmundur for the mystics and it would only grow stronger with age. Despite having no talent in magic himself this was the path that Guðmundur chose, the treasure that he would be searching for was that of knowledge and items of mystical nature. Name: Paul Bouillon, Esquire

Culture: French

Sex: Male

Age: 35

Race: Géant - 12 Ft

Fluff: Paul Bouillon is a giant, and one of the King's own Musketeers. A native of the Alsace region in France, he descends from a low noble family of giants who have had ties with the local Duke and eventually the King of France for centuries since they were converted to Christendom since the early Middle ages.

They were a favorite of the local lord to recruit into his army, both for the morale bolstering effect of having them and the shock value against enemies. It worked well, so long as the lord was willing to pay for the heavy armor to offset the size and vulnerability of them.

Paul Bouillon volunteered to join the Royal Army when he was a young lad (younger than any human ought to have been accepted, but his size made up for it), and desired to be trained as a musketeer. In almost 2 decades of service, that's exactly what he did. They adapted a swivel cannone into a proportionally sized musket for him, and a huge sack of woven chains to hold the ammunition, and drilled and trained him in how to load, aim and fire his weapon until he was proficient at it. Battle and combat tempered his skills at his weapon even further, as he fought and survived battle after battle, and rose through the ranks until he earned the right to join the ranks of the King's Musketeers.

Now a veteran skilled at his weapon, he has been sent to Porte-Louis to aid in the fight against the Carrib's, the training of local militia in the use of the musket, and perform other duties appropriate to his size and rank.

Name: Friedrich "Fritz" Morgenstern, Baron of Bimini Cove

Culture: German-born English privateer

Sex: Male

Age: 28

Race: Human

Fluff: Fritz Morgenstern was born in the Holy Roman Empire to a poor peasant family. His poverty growing up and his routine early life as a farmhand led to a fierce boredom which would lead him to join the much more colorful ranks of the landsknechts, mercenary units famous for their pike squares but also skilled with weapons such as the crossbow, arquebus, zweihander and katzbalger. Fritz's unit was soon hired by England under Henry VIII in his wars with France, and after their contract was finished, Fritz decided to stay in England. There he would attend naval school and join England's naval ranks as a privateer in the New World. His skill with a variety of weapons and knack for tactics would prove just as invaluable for the English forces as it was for his old squad.

To do this however he first needs a crew, as he will not be able to reach his goals relying on his own power alone. Guðmundur continued to sail with his father Einar until he everntually passed away. Not long after this Guðmundur heard of the French aggression against the natives and the death of his native family. It was an attempted assassination.

To do this however he first needs a crew, as he will not be able to reach his goals relying on his own power alone. Guðmundur continued to sail with his father Einar until he everntually passed away. Not long after this Guðmundur heard of the French aggression against the natives and the death of his native family. This spurred him on to set out on his own, planning to become a Captain of his own ship so that he may focus on his own goals. Guðmundur has also vowed to kill as much Frenchmen as possible for as long as he lives, wether they be men, women or children.

Fluff: "I'm Bartholomew the Reddened, I'm a captain of a very fine errr naval people who wants to questionable things for money. Yea that's what it's called but call me a pirate good sir and I'll make you walk the plank ya scurvy bastard. Why I am from the Crown good sir after all ya scurvy dog I fought for the King and he granted me the right to plunder all ya ships. But errr the crown often forgets I'm in the new world's waters. Also it's been awhile since my crew have gotten paid.

What are ye doing LAUGHING ABOUT IT! Why, walk the plank what was I saying after that? Oh yes soon after we attacked many other ships from the spaniards to the dutch. Aye we have been sailing the waters for months now, In fact the crew and I might like to cut one of ya bastards down to size. However we'll save ya if you spread our tale.

The local indians are very scared of errr naval people and if England has it's way it'll all be in British rule. They think we are legendary seamen who are like the knights of old. Except we drink rum and cut all of ya throats ya scurvy land lubbers. Now what's your choice help us grow our legend with the tribes so they'll bring england's rule or get keelhauled either way you're helping us. How well they might not help the spaniards or dutch if there's bloodthirsty men from the sea .

"Bartholomew was a very timid admiral in the royal navy. But however he's a very careful person when it comes to reacting in the crown's royal navy. As he did he had a very bad confrontation that he tried to cool down but ended in being hit in the head by some locals whom sought to target him of all people due to being of the crown. However he has healed but now has some quirks per say I know it seems to be a bit foolish but he seems to left thinking that he had a pardon to commit piracy~ Humbly yours Eric Standish of the Royal Navy "

Name: Baronet Richard Emrik

>Culture: England

>Sex: Male

>Age: 24

>Race: Human

>Fluff:Richard is the son of an officer in the old navy. His father was among the first to sail for the new world but word of him has not yet returned. He is feared to be lost at sea. Richard grew up under a strict house his father very much favoring the spare the rod spoil the child method of rearing children. It was not fun and Richard has missed out on alot of childhood leaving him envious of others and a bit of a wild card at times. But it has been very good for his general discipline and education. Richard much against his mother's wishes joined the royal navy as young as he could and has since worked himself into a commission as Captain of his own boat thanks in part to his fathers legacy and in part to his semi noble lineage. Proudly bearing the red hand of ulster, in search of glory, power, and his father Richard eagerly sails to the new world.
