tumblr are so easy to piss off generally that it's worth signing up. I made a comment one time about some MMO I was playing and I came back to the tag next day and people were still writing passive aggressive things about it.
One guy had written a whole scene from a play parodying this one sentence I wrote and it must have taken him ages. The amount of effort these people put into things that are fueled by anger is outstanding. They are so easy to piss off.

I know it too well, my mind feels like it's grounded somewhere between 2005 and 2008.
I've spent so much time in my room with my curtains shut staring at my computer screen since then, that I freak out a bit whenever I'm dragged outside and see the world as it is in 2015. All the bizarre fashions for example, which would have earned you the title of "weirdo" or "faggot" 10 years ago. The worst is when I go past an area I knew well as a kid, like a field or set of roads, and now it's a housing estate or completely rearranged.

This year has been a little different because I've been making an active effort to change things, so I've been going to therapy, sitting in the garden a couple of times and visiting my sister and niece every couple of weeks. But for the previous 7 years or so, usually only once every month or so when my dad picks me up to go to his house for the weekend, and usually when I get there I stay indoors until we drive back home.
Most of what I see is just roads and motorways, but on the odd occasion we end up driving through a town, or going past places I remember as a kid, it's a strange experience.

It just got messed up when I was ill, and forcing myself back never works so I'm just gradually going around the clock until it's decent. I woke up around 9:30pm last night, so I've got a fair way to go yet, it'll probably take another week or two assuming I don't somehow mess it up even more in the mean time.
