It's a combination of things like that and the various administrative changes. Moot stepped down and has been replaced by a 3 person admin team. I don't know the full details but I think there's been some reports published that is stating that diesel cars are being more harmful to the environment compared to petrol (despite the fact several years ago they were telling us to buy diesel as it was more eco friendly) and it looks likely to become more expensive to own one. I'm really glad I'm not alone in these feels, it's sort of comforting to know. A therapist tried to diagnose me with some sort of schizophrenia or something similar once because of this. I told her how I feel about being around people and feeling like I'm being judged all the time and she was asking questions like "do you feel there is some sort of conspiracy against you", "do you feel everyone is out to get you". Worst part is is that I am starting to get little thoughts in the back of my head every now and again that what she was asking is really happening. Whether it's a placebo effect I don't know. Honestly to me that sounds like (or at least very similar to) social anxiety disorder, which I've been dealing with since starting puberty. I used to be a tad paranoid when I was around 10-13 that other kids might be able to read my thoughts or see through my eyes and laughing at me or something, and even now I constantly feel like I could be being watched and judged without me realising it, so I can see why a therapist might have started with looking into schizophrenia.

For me it's mostly a matter of having 0% self-confidence, self-worth, and self-assertiveness, which fuels irrational negative thoughts that aren't true, but go around my head in a feedback loop, causing panic attacks and avoidance.
