I'm on day 7 at the moment and I feel great. It helps that I have to donate to the Socialist Worker's Party if I fail. If you're thinking about wanting a wank to the point of posting it here then you're already letting the urge have too much power over you. Your brain is hungering for dopamine right now, so give it some, but by doing something productive instead.

Or alternatively just have a moral wank to a qt using only your thoughts. Porn is the real problem, I don't think NoFap is necessary, though it is a good test of will.

Sequencing, mostly.
The SH-101 is an 80s monosynth that had a built in step sequencer, which he is programming (every note press enters that note into the sequence and moves to the next step, whenever he presses the button above it adds a rest step). Next he sequences what looks like a TB-303 clone, which works similarly. Then he shows himself adjusting the decay on a sound on an Elektron Analog Rytm, which I believe is a modern analogue/sample-based hybrid drum machine, which again has it's own sequencer. Then he gets all the sequences playing together (one of the machines will provide the master clock, and the rest will be slaved to it via MIDI, so they all stay in sync with each other), while he plays a Novation Bass Station 2 live.

>Is it hard?
Uneducated black teenagers from New York, Chicago, and Detroit were doing the same thing with the same gear in the 80s, so no. This is how all synthpop, hip-hop, electro, house, techno, etc. was made, from the dawn of MIDI up until home computers took over the role of master sequencer/clock in the 90s, and fully "in-the-box" DAW solutions came about in the early 00s.
The gear is very expensive though, an order of magnitude more so than it was back then (digital synths and drum machines took the world by storm in the mid 80s, and all the old analogue gear was practically being given away, hence how all those piss-poor black kids in the ghettos got a hold of it). You can use a DAW and VSTs to generate exactly the same thing and better, what he made in that video amateur hour shite for literally nothing, assuming you're pirate savvy. TAL do a great SH-101 VST clone that I use a lot, and Audio Realism make a near-perfect TB-303 clone.
On the other hand, Behringer are breaking into the analogue hardware clones market, and two of the planned machines are an SH-101 clone and a TR-808 clone, so if you really want to go the hardware route I'd wait for their line-up to be released.

I have a few ideas:
>refuse access to the NHS and majority of welfare to fatties above the obesity threshold
>hefty tax on food & drinks with high sugar/sugar-substitute levels and little-to-no nutritional value (natural products like fruit, honey, etc will obviously be excluded)
>force manufacturers to display large obesity warnings and images of disgusting fat cunts on the packaging
>ban on marketing those products to children, perhaps introduce an age restriction
>ban on promoting and celebrating obesity, no "plus sized" models, etc.
>abolish hate speech laws, reintroduce fat shaming as our national pastime

Yeah, you're pretty much shit out of luck unless they happened to release a non-brickwall limited CD version, or you win the second-hand vinyl lottery and make your own digital transfer. Sometimes you can find obscure records on Soulseek, but their vinyl recordings (at least, the freely available ones) are often complete garbage as well.

I'd be all for those apart for the tax. Nothing wrong with someone who knows how to control themselves indulging in treats, and I don't think they should be punished because some people don't know how to control themselves.

>Nothing wrong with someone who knows how to control themselves indulging in treats
I guess I'm at a point where I don't even see chocolate/sweets/fizzy drinks/etc. as treats, I see them more like how non-smokers and non-drinkers view fags and booze. Things that might provide "good feelings" on the surface, but have addictive properties and huge negative health effects when overconsumed. I think it's better to stick to fruit instead, which tastes absolutely orgasmic when you've gone cold turkey on sweets.
>>66563
>They should just be taxed directly
That would probably work better, because then they wouldn't be able to get around it by simply importing garbage food/drinks from other countries. The only solution for them then would be paying up, or fucking off to other countries, which I'd view as a success.

It takes a lot more effort and preparation than just loading up an emulator and playing games, and I'm completely unprepared. Also my computer has been fairly unstable for the last year or two, getting occasional audio dropouts, video driver crashes, general crashes, etc.. I think it really needs formatting and starting fresh, but I cannot be fucked with that.

Actually I think I've fixed the audio dropout problem, a new driver for my audio interface came out 3 days ago and now it seems fairly solid. I thought it was just my PC being shit because my old audio interface did something similar in it's old age, albeit a lot worse.
I'm not impressed though, this interface model (Steinberg UR824) has been out for about 6 years, and yet they've only just the other day solved a fairly major performance issue that people with certain PCs have been complaining about for ages. I swear I googled for shit like this before I bought it, and nothing significant came up, at least compared with other ones I looked at. At least it seems alright for the time being, but if the problems continue I'll have to sell it.

I will say though, when it comes to their DAW (Cubase) they're jewish as fuck. Do yourselves a favour and never even think about using it, or any other DAW that uses cancerous dongle protection or makes you pay ludicrous amounts for every update. Stick with FL Studio and their lifetime free updates, and the ability to install and use it on as many computers as you bloody well please, without requiring an internet connection.
