I've devised myself a ~10 minute stretching/yoga routine to do every morning. I have a ruptured disc in my back, so I get back pain when sitting down for too long. Hopefully these, combined with being more active in general as of late, will be helpful.

I've been walking my dog about 5 miles per day for a few months now. My back is certainly feeling much better, but it's still not at 100%. I know it's possible to be at close to full functionality with a ruptured disc, but I'm not quite there yet. I need to do some strengthening stuff as well I think. I envy people who can go to the gym. My shoulders are also fucked; I'm doing rotator cuff exercises to fix them, but it's a long process.
