You can train yourself to hear more of your true voice than the one in your head, but yeah it is weird how you think you sound all cool and stuff, then you play it back and you sound like a gimp.

Eventually managed to get around it and leave the room, then woke my mum up and she got it. I feel really bad for doing that but my arachnophobia is ridiculous, I'll be having nightmares about spiders again for sure now.

Morning mates. As predicted, I did end up having a nightmare about spiders, but I managed to get back to sleep and have another dream about playing my keyboard at my dads house, much nicer.
Woke up naturally at half 9, not too bad considering how awful my sleep schedule has been in recent weeks. It's just a matter of keeping it going now and making it a routine, which is often harder than starting.

It can get pretty bad sometimes, like when I'm laying in bed and I feel a hair move on my body, but my head thinks it could be a spider so I leap out of bed. A largish house spider did actually run out from under my covers while I was in them once, so it's not a completely irrational response.
