As I was saying to my better half today after going through half a dozen confirmation steps (including THREE 2FA using different modes) to do a single BTC transfer, if someone wants to steal our metal, they have to do survellance, know when we are transporting, and intercept when we are vulnerable. Very high risk, very expensive, not feasible for someone who does active countersurveillance.
Theft from crypto wallets/exchanges can be automated and done remotely with little or no risk, for extremely high reward. I would not be surprised if state actors like Mossad or North Korea are involved in some of these crypto hacks.

I believe Gammon is trying to build the case that the dollar milkshake theory works now and will continue to work in the future. I disagree and believe that ANY world reserve fiat currency will always eventually fail, and the the world will then fall back to gold and silver, and the cycle will eventually begin all over again, because physical gold and silver aren't convenient for large volumes of international trade because of the need to assay/verify, especially with larger bars.
I would like to see the same test done using silver Eagles. Argentina is named after silver.

People on 4chan talking about hardness of gold are making a fundamental error. 24k gold can be work hardened, and must be annealed if you want to form it without cracking. Cast 24k gold is quite soft, but once it gets minted or worked, it becomes much harder.
Silver behaves similarly.
Cast vs minted 24k gold are different beasts.

It's like this guy is talking about a France from the 1970's. What he's saying doesn't apply anymore and hasn't in a long time. The algerians are very spread out now. There are some in every neighborhood except maybe the richest parts of Paris or whatever city. If you go to any town or village, you'll find some there too. But this happened gradually, not like they're doing it in the UK recently (dumping overwhelming numbers of africans into small villages).
As for "assimilation", good luck with that. The cultures aren't compatible. In the city where my mom lives, the city stopped putting up Christmas lights/decorations every year because some muslims complained. And they have huge funding by Qatar for building mosques everywhere. And of course they're out cheering when the cathedral was burning a few years ago. The whole point of bringing them here in huge quantity was D&C by (((them))) because nothing else makes any fucking sense.
