There are a lot of people who did wear it, often by accident, the cop, the girl, mob guys, Walter, a little girl, her father, a guy who was on drugs and lets us see with the masks eyes… And many many gangs around the world are after it, mostly to take over the world.
Besides the comics is much better than the movie, at least in my opinion.
