Im considered aboriginal, and my mum wanted me to know that every waking moment of my life.
It didnt matter that i had white skin, blonde hair and blue eyes, becuase my blue eyed white skined father with europoid features was considered "aboriginal".
Yeah i grew up around aboriginals but i consider myself post racial now.
Everyone got drunk all the time when i was a kid.
If a family acquaintance died, everyone used it as an excuse to do hard drugs or drink until passing out crying.
My white mum was an ex-vegan feminist and single. She ide tified with the "pain" of aboriginal people and used me and my siblings as a way for her to weasle herself into any aboriginal community she wanted.
A few years she literally took everyone (younger sibling as well) to a dangerous protest march where cops rammed their horses into the crowd.
She acts lile she gives a fuck about aboriginals but she enables them to stay pathetic and hopless.
My whole childhood and early adulthood was her brainwashing me with munchausen.
Blew my special needs way the fuck out of proportion and made me overeat whicj screwed up my hunger and made me fat at 7years old.
She fucked with my head so i developed more compulsions, brain problems and fears.
The fat ruined my health and made me monsterously ugly which gave me gender confusion becuase i was not a cute girl anymore but a big gross eric cartman.
As a 13yo, my leg rashss turned into leaking wounds and boils.
I had puberty complications caused by weight.
I missed too much school and failed.
I felt like a retarded ugly looser.
I got fatter and diagnosed with a thyroid disorder.
My mum convinced me that my thyroid disorder was genetic and that i was fat becuase of that.
She also convinced me to be feminist.
I got scared of everything.
At 18 i did not drink alcohol but i got really depressed.
She decided to encourage me to drink as much as i wanted!
I woud drink alone in my room and pass out aftrr drinking half the bottle.
I had disability support workers until i was 23 years old.
I snapped out of her abusive munchausen paranting when i went fully psychotic.
She wanted me to be a hopless aboriginal stereotype.
She believes shes fighting colonism, but she tried to make me kill myself, sje considers me aboriginal.

my old man went to school with an aboriginal bloke, he was from an adopted white family, they never told him of his ancestry…in hindsight im not sure how they avoided the question but they did.
He thought he might be sri lankan or indian in highschool, there were no other aboriginal kids at the school but it was a chill highschool he didnt cop flack for it.
He sussed it all out by late teens early twenties. my old man, him and a bunch of other guys from school stayed real tight. They all went to uni, got their degrees, got married, started families.
His marriage fell apart before he could have kids with his first wife, she was cool but job wise he was killing it. Something shifted in the following years though, he was getting more involved in the aboriginal community, Which is fair enough, he'd been denied his roots (one way to look at it) but he eventually started to drink, not just caj beers, proper day drink. Linked up with a much younger aboriginal misso who had come from an absolutely polar upbringing. She was rough as guts and their relationship was dysfunctional lets put it that way. He ended up knocking her up and they had a son, she fucked off when the kid was young and he raised the son. Drinking intensified.
Then he finds his biological parents, more drinking, starts flaking on work, house turns to shit, more drinking.
Now hes pretty rinsed, none of his old mates see him because he turns nasty and spiteful and cant help but get on the piss. He's kind of become this bizarre actualisation of the stereotype despite his upbringing and education.
It was a serious fall from grace over 20 years and i watched it happen like a slow motion hindenburg. Still cant really understand why, i rationalise it as his desire to fit in and be accepted by his community and birth family but if you were adopted and found out ya old man was a junkie would you take a day off from your well payed and respected position to blow out on fucking heroin?
The memory serves as a testament to how fucked the culture is for most aboriginals, how poisonous it can be even if you didnt grow up with it, its dysfunction is part of its glue.

Yeah I left home at 15 and lived on the street for a while.
I'm doing fairly well now, trying not to let my past hold me back. I work and have my own home so I guess thats better than most, I still have to deal with my trust issues, especially with women, I've been single for so long and feel like I have wasted alot of my youth feeling sorry for myself.
