Not sure if you're joking or not, but I've reached the point where I'm dead serious in saying that the flood of rubbish Indian IT labour has caused me to lose my job.
In short, I'm a 43yo white male who throughout my entire 20-year career was never unemployed for more than a couple of weeks. If I got offered an interview, I got offered the job. Sorry, but yes I'm fucking excellent at what I do mostly because I love it.
Anyway, fast forward to 2015 and my 4 year stint in a particular role ends. (end of contract). That was 20 months ago. Since then I can not even get a fucking interview. NOT ONE.
The only thing that has changed is all this gay "diversity" shit. 43yo white male? I'm the fucking opposite of all that crap.
I did notice in my last role, Indians could do no wrong. Even when they were found to be falsifying test results, nothing happened to them. They should have been fired (into the sun) for that shit.
So yeah. I know I sound like some old cunt from the 70s, but the fucken shitskin/wogs/etc really have taken my job. Still owe a quarter of a million on my house and have 2 kids, so I still do need the normie income stream. Otherwise I'd be happy living off the back of my ute.

I'm actually a software tester, and "full stack" for me means being able to develop (which I can - that's where I started) especially code for automation like C# and Java, web services, networking, architecture, the whole shooting match because we need to be able to report errors *anywhere* in the entire end-to-end system.
I'm not just qualified, I have demonstrable workplace experience in all this. But nup. Not one interview in 20 months.
My surname is extremely anglo and records checks means my DOB is one of the first things they'll find out.

I kind of feel your pain. I'm in my 30's (white male) and left the public service a few years ago (it's, apparently, encouraged to get some private sector experience). Over the last 12 months or so I've been applying to levels below, above and equal to what I was prior to me leaving. I hear you folks, same situation. I feel like I'm only getting better and better at coding, web, IT, security, protocols, etc. But now I can't even land an interview. I was at least getting the odd interview 2 years ago.
I went for one job recently and was knocked back. The guy said he got over 300 applicants for the position.
This is fucked. There are too many people coming into this country. I grew up here but have no hope in hell of owning my own home. I wonder how my boyfriend would feel if I just became a prostitute.
