I fucking hate working full time but i fucking hate the weekends more. NEETS dont know what the pain is.
Saturday is terrible day.
Your day the sleep in and some cunt starts mowing is lawn at 8 am, your whole family is in the kitchen, mum is yelling at you to do chores. Your free day and you can even do what you want.
Any wagies know these feels, also does anyone have a job where they work a day on the weekend and then get a day off during the week.
I would love that

I try and put away at least 500 a week.
Torn apart by bullshit but I can make 1 more week, 1 more 500. Can't go on forever but I'm out of debt and just cracked 20k.
hippies I hang out with always giving me shit, trying to get me fucked up on weeknights, party till 4am work at 8 kind of shit. "Why you do it anon, stay and chill with ussssss?"
Don't know how to raise the idea with them that we're now 2 years into my new job. They're still sitting on the couch talking about what they want go to uni and do journalism or some shit. Haven't reminded them that they all told me I couldn't make it when I started, that if I was feeling anxious then I should give up.
I'm gearing up to start my own business and they're still waiting to be saved by someone else. I get to send money home to my parents and buy a case of whatever whenever, they still gotta pool money between 6 for rat piss and talk about how they could totally make money if they tried.
Anyway, it never ends but whatever, fuck the day, fuck the hippies, are you better today than you were yesterday? a couple of steps further? cunts will always try make you feel bad for rejecting their weaknesses.

When I was working 40-50 hour weeks I could not afford my own place. I might have been able to scrape by but then nothing would have been going into savings and the whole exercise would have been wasted. That was a shitty hospitality job though, if I had something more substantial like $40/hr or more then sure I could rent no problem.

I don't work at the moment (doing full-time TAFE retard IT networking study) but was previously employed full-time. 8:30am to 6pm. Shit was so cash except the middle boss was a fucking cunt whom everyone hated and a lobotomite as he had a brain tumor previously. Didn't help him be a not-cunt but thats the way of it. During my 5 years there had manage to save up enough to move out and live quite comfy(saved over $20k) but I though it would be great to live with a childhood friend who was also looking to live elsewhere. Fuck my life I should not of done that. What a fucked choice I made.
She couldn't find full time work (even though she said she HAD work) so I had ended up paying for most of the shit and she ended up being a complete dump of a young woman who couldn't stop being a drunk and druggo. In the end I kinda forced her to become a stripper cause I was bleeding money fast paying for bills and food and shit but it wasn't enough. Killed the friendship, my savings and my job as she kept coming home at 3am in the morning (even work nights) fucked off her head and wanting to chat about the old times, which she usually ended up crying hysterically over as she though "No one understands me.. yadda yadda yadda" got sick of that shit real quick but that didn't stop her from doing it 3 years straight.
Now I'm back living with mum….
Who, when she was married to my dad, they only paid $50,000 for the place in the 80's. Now because of cocksucker bankers and their equally foul real-estate speculators, prices in my Sydney suburb are over a fucking million bucks. THESE ARE A MILLION BUCK HOMES!!!
I'm never gonna own shit here until someone dies. Fuck this city and fuck the Boomers, fags and everyone else who gentrifies areas. Fucking Cancer!!!!!

I don't know if anyone else has noticed it, but there's this weird double speak with contracts against what HR and bosses think. Your contract might say 37.5 hours (not including lunch), but really you get in at 8am, leave at 5:30pm having a 30 minute lunch break at most.
Then as part of my job I will be randomly sent to a random mine-site for like a month in a row. I get days off supposedly for all the weekends/public holidays I miss, but in practice you get guilt tripped whenever you want to actually use them.
I have worked for a few different companies, but some have really bullshit work-cultures.

Check your contact about the hours, maybe you should be getting an hour lunch instead of hour. If you are meant to have an hour and get half just leave half an hour early. if your manager says shit just aks what the contract says. Do the work placement. You never know where it could lead. Even if it helps narrow down what you DON'T want to do, it gets you out of the house, up in the morning, sets a routine.
Routine is something that makes you mentally healthy, and doing a job placement throws you in with others who are in the same position, baby steps to setting up your own network of friends.
When in doubt about what to do with life, do something….ANYTHING, just get the momentum started and you will be rolling along without realising it. Believe it or not, there are a lot of bosses out there that do look at volunteers and wfd as possible hires, Just have to find the right ones, and the only way to do that is get out of the house and participate.

Depends on what job you're going for in the APS. For my position I have two undergrad degrees, some post graduate work, and dilpomas/certificates coming out the ass.
Really though to start out you don't need anything much. You can get in at a low level (APS2/3) with barely any qualifications (basically just year 12) and work your way up.

As long as you passed no one gives a shit. No need for a Masters, and depending on your field of work and how good you are/how much you boss loves you there's the potential to have whichever department you end up in to pay for it.

I have no fucking time to get my Ps, have no time to get a part-time job, especially since I live somewhat rural without a car and I feel like I'm letting down my folks as I can't help out much due to study.
NEETdom was dull as fuck for the 6 months I was out of education; can't imagine that for a lifetime.
I only hope I can end up half as "successful" as the wagies posting here over the months. I don't want much, just a family, house and not be in debt.

I studied at Sydney Con, tutor in saxophone/clarinet/flute. Yeah its good money but no way you could do it full time because of the amount of concentration involved. Even 20 hours a week is a huge load thats 40 one on one lessons every week. Also you only teach in term time. You dont need qualifications because its all contracted through private companies but they expect you to be able to play grade 8 level + on your main instrument. This is for band/orchestral classical instruments. Rock musicians don't get anywhere close to that money. Teaching guitar/drums is more like 35 an hour unless you have the jazz degree or are one of the top session guys.
On my way to see the Audiologist now… I wont be quitting unless I have to but man google Hyperacusis and you'll see what I am dealing with.

Oi cunts, looking at smashing out some kind of cert, maybe cert IV accounting so I can sit in some low stress office environment like >>137020 suggested.
Anyone know how long it would take if I spent 5 solid days a week doing it? Maybe 2 months? I've done a bit of accounting before (distinction in uni level accounting course), and can pick things up very quickly. This would be online of course so I wouldn't have to waste time going to/from campus and following a slow curriculum.
Just want to get out of more back breaking labour and into something cushy and reasonably remunerated tbh. Most of the payroll jobs just seem to want a bit of experience as opposed to educational requirements.
Also how do companies react to randoms sending them work experience requests? Any tips? Wouldn't mind going into some company for a couple of days a week for free just to say I have practical experience.

hey man i have similar education background. If you have a D level marks i would think i could find work easily.
You would maybe need to join up as customer service or junior payroll to get into it, which is fucking dumb.
I usually exaggerate in interviews and say that i did the books for mum and dads investments and super fund company. Also look into learning SAP or oracle, some jobsare after for those. or just lie and say you know them and then learn on the job, u usually get training anyway.
I havent really sent companies work experience requests, I think it might be better to apply for a job, and then at the interview say. "look i know i dont have the experience but im hungry to learn and work hard, try me out as an intern for a week, and then we'll see how it goes".
Not wanting to work full time will be the biggest problem man. Dont say 2 days a week, normies see that as being lazy

Grades are a way for musicians to get accreditation by just doing a performance exam without having to go through a university degree.
In Australia there is the AMEB
https://www.ameb.edu.au/
Internationally, Trinity and Royal schools do exams worldwide and are the most well known
http://www.trinitycollege.com/site/?id=1044
https://au.abrsm.org/en/home
Its mostly practical with a small theory component. An LTCL from Trinity is basically equivalent to a Bachelors degree.

Don't park in or around the city centre and catch a train in? If it is smoother driving it may reduce driving costs. It is not always feasible but it is something I would look into. Even if you get early bird parking specials if you have a big job in the city works out. In Sydney some places offers in before 9:00 am and out after 3:00 pm for $19.
the worst parking I have seen is $68 for under an hour parking in Sydney on a weekday in the morning

Hello fellow wagies. I made a post a while ago about my situation and here's where I'm at now, I have a confirmed degenerative disease and I've been considering applying for DSP for ages. I work in retail and want to stay working for as long as I can, I need purpose and having a schedule and a job is what's keeping me going. I've been a NEET before and yes it was fucked. I know going on DSP is like opening the door to the rabbit hole having all that free money every fortnight without doing fuckall, I think I'd resort back to being more of a hermit which is not what I want to do. But I know eventually I won't be able to work or support myself. I have no idea what to do.

I'm also working a lot these days part time so I'm on about $5-600 a week, if I apply for DSP, I'll need to cut my hours to 15 a week, so will be about $250ish a week.
