it's still a ridiculous amount of time
not too shabby. been working nights since coronachan but doing 4 10 hour shifts so have three day weekends. it's pretty nice but the late schedule is feeding into my urge to isolate so i'm slowly pushing it earlier
i scored a gf right before shutdown so we've been having a lot of wild sex which has been helping my mood
been working out at the ymca, getting strong. have my personal trainer in a few lol
quit drinking. coming up on a year next month. got a medical card though so been smoking a lot. i can walk past the line at the dispensary and pay almost no tax. i have about 2 ounces in shake rn
so work, fucking, working out, smoking. pretty much my life. could be a lot worse!

Got and lost my job, been living luka mode for most of this year riding my backsavings, and since I dont have a job I've decided i might as well start actually making use of it
Got my big 200 pound buddy into jiujitsu so now I have a real challenge, my brother is good but he's like 150 pounds and 5 years younger lol
200 pound buddy is my age and I'm sitting at 137-140 pounds
Took up jogging and worked up to about 8km jogs 5 days a week, but i've been studying how to actually run like form and shit so i'm down to actual 5km runs with decent form
my life is basically just fitness lole cause i dont got much else too do in small town back ass fuck iowa
I have been into music produciton again though sort oif,I got an MPC Live, , a little drum pad thing, I 've been at for abbout a year now
And right now our town must be getting cracked down on oor something cause everyone i know is out of weed ;~:

been sober for like a week but whatever

sorry your town is dry i can't imagine. shit went legal here January 1st but the supply couldn't keep up with the demand so the selection wasn't too hot for awhile. then covid hit and everyone was hoarding (myself included) so i pretty much spent my whole stimulus on weed. BUT the last couple months supply is finally plentiful and i was able to get 14g shake deals for $100 which is unreal for high grade shit
glad youre keeping active. it took my body turning against me for me to finally realize the importance of moving around. keep moving and other things kinda fall into place. didn't know how i was going to survive the gyms shutting down but made do with zoom personal training and 3am walks around deserted streets. during the shelter in place and especially when there was looting and curfew in place it was wild walking around latenight smoking spliffs. not a soul out. you could hear noises from blocks away. the contrast with when the 4th of july hit was crazy too, like people just went a ridiculous amount of ham
yeah i fear as long as there is a thread up i will at least check in from time to time. i check out /b/ on weekends hoping i'll see a colbert thread but i haven't seen one in awhile. i don't much care for the waifu or aki threads. i will hang out on /tv/ a bit
enjoy the luka life while you can. tbh she would probably be a lot happier if she jogged 8km 5xweek instead of hanging around on discord all day

Yeah, grains and beans are typically really cheap. For protiens you can mix simple protiens like what are found in rice and beans to make the more complicated protiens you need or buy the bits of the animals most people don't want. Most veggies are really cheap too as are starches like potatoes. There really is no reason to starve in this country unless you're homeless, and then I advocate for them to shoplift.

They're having the marathon in my town today! theere's a bunch of streets blocked off and polices out and everyones lined up and they have a finish line on the town square and you can see all these people running and walking and everyones being ecncouraging and clapping and stuff
it's reallyy exciting
I wanted to join but by the time i was really getting back to running i missed teh sign up deadline by just a short bit and would have had to pay 70 dollars : ( hoping i can join next year
it's very inspiring

i was talking with my brother and my friend about the same thing lol
there's nothing stopping me from just joining and running the route lol
it's just that i wouldn't get registered at the finish line or get any of the stuff you get when you finish and I'd feel sort of fake cause you have random people cheering and clapping
I'll go for my jog a bit later on my normal rroute lol i dont wanna pretend because those people actually were out there cutting there bones on the streets
i missed the cutoff deadline so they jacked up the price, but I'm pretty confident they wont charge more than 20 or 25 to enter if you dont get the deadline, and by the time I knew about this race I was already under a month out from it, so i didnt really have time to properly train, but if i keep it in mind for next year and actually pursue it, i'll be in fantastic shape.
a years worth of training if i stick to it should honestly let me take either first place which is a really cool medallion or possibly even break the record time, which we're a smaller town lol, people do come in from across iowa, but its not like winning the boston marathon lmao
if you break the record time you get 1000 dollars from one of the local banks
