This isn't the first time you've admitted I was right. As far as the ACA gies, the only good thing about it was the removal of preexisting conditions denial. However, under the ACA heath insurance companies were still allowed to deny treatment to people while simultaneously allowing their profits to soar. They were able to get more people paying into the system and deny them adequate treatment or put the out of pocket cost for treatment and medication so high people were unable to afford it while still having insurance. Our healthcare needs to be completely removed from the hands of major corporations and paid for bybthe government. My philosophy tends to consider the access to life itself to be a fundamental right, if a developed nation can afford it. Hungarian high-power, huh, was just looking at a bunch that got imported recently, I would like to own a high-power one day. Do they make a wider trigger for it, i thought the slot was as wide as the trigger. And would the chamber be strong enough for +P? Also I dont really see the point in +P hollow point design have come a long way, and many work just as well.

I could see running a shorter barrel on the m12 though, i did a long forcing cone on my 870 shot barrel, and I cut the slug barrel down to 18.5" from 24" but I could get a new barrel for $50 on ebay.

They do make wode triggers for them. They are totally compatible with all hi-power parts. The hi-power has an issue with feeding hollow points due to the feed ramp. It will fire +P if you swap out for a heavier recoil spring.

Also Hornady 9mm+P hollow points just won the contract to supply ammunition to the FBI.

The cool thing about the Hi-Power is that it was such a popular firearm that there are tons of aftermarket parts for it. And, because it had such a garbage trigger pull people made all sorts of things to mitigate that.

I got the original fbi contract, 40s&w in my carry gun, only because thats all they had in the shield performance center when i bought it, but, i enjoy shooting it and have well over 1000rounds through it, never shot +P out of it though, i think i have some in a box somewhere, just haven't shot it yet, same with my 1911 still haven't tried +P out of it but I have them on hand.

If its work that can be done do it, i have polished many a trigger and sear, like my kinber micro9 was torn down and polished the day I bought it, you'd be surprised what a polish job can do. And dryfire training can soften up a trigger.

Also I used a 60lbs grip strength trainer until I could pull it with one finger so no trigger feels that bad to me.

I'm not gonna dry fire my hi-power. It can be made better with polishing the feed ramp, but it's not going to completely stop feeding issues with hollow points. Anyway its a common method to reduce a trigger without actually taking it apart, but doing a trigger job and shooting the gun will give the same effects and shortening/changing sear angles works the best. And a engineered trigger kit is the best, trigger, sear springs hell some even have fitted pins to make the best trigger possible, i could work on guns for hours, im gonna get my mill running this weekend, then start cleaning up the lathe and I will build my own guns from scratch, how's a martini henry in 50bmg sound to you? I think i may do that eventually.
