I think it's just a tabby. It's face isn't as broad, it's eyes aren't as round, the nose isn't as short as it should be to be a British shorthair. Brown and black tabby also isn't a recognized color in british shorthairs, although there could always be the odd mismarked cat. Many moggies have that round, fat face appearance but if you are looking for that specifically, the british shorthair is a good extreme of that (without being really extreme)
