first off wolves would rather fuck dogs than fight dogs, that why your stray mutts genetically pollute the wild populations (dogs aren't particularly keen on fighting wolves either - they have to be conditioned for it in wolf hunts).
secondly wolf behavior isn't anything remotely like you think.
wolves are pack animals. they don't fight mono a mono. Alone they are usually (barring rabies) timid and quick to flee from the scene, especially at human presence (it is foolish to assume that wolf attacks do not happen however, as wolf packs can and do maul humans on occasion).
and finally there are dog breeds that will hunt bears, dude. Caucasian ovcharkas were bred for it.
