I am not a Muslim, but I believe in jinns. Arab and Muslim folk tales are full of stories about jinns and how wonderful, skilled, powerful, wise, and sometimes cunning they are. Turning a steel wristwatch case into a gold one is a not big deal, judging by the stories about jinns. I have a metal (I think brass) oil lamp. I also have a watch with a stainless steel case. I rubbed the lamp and politely asked the jinn of the lamp to turn the stainless steel case of the watch into a gold case.
