Psychic powers are 100% real, they've been proven scientifically. Search for Dean Radin or Jeffrey Mishlove on Youtube. I believe telekinesis is real too, but the effect is (usually) not strong enough to allow a person to move objects. There's also the possibility that we're simply doing it wrong.
Most people, when they try to move a pencil with the power of their mind, focus really hard on it, and then give up when it doesn't work. But I remember reading (in a book about scientific evidence for PSI) that the key to psychic powers is that you have to be able to put reason aside, suspend your disbelief and put a lot of emotion into it.
