Pretty much, what I wanna know is, is it possible to forcefully induce an OBE without drugs. I'm held back, or rather, I'm hindered by neurological issues that make it hard to even sit still to fall asleep, let alone ease myself into an OBE, I haven't even experienced sleep paralysis. I've read about electric impulses being used in studies to induce the sensation of OBEs and near death experiences and such. But I want to know if there is something similar, to induce one. As I had said, drugs are out, not because I don't use them, but because I want a natural-esque way to experience an OBE, and to be able to repeat it. (I plan on trying DMT to gain a sense of spirituality, if that makes sense). Sorry if this is a shit thread, I've tried different methods but to no avail, and when I search up this topic, it's too bogged down with hippie nonsense and other bullshit, so I'd really appreciate some help.

Pic unrelated though.

Without drugs is a tough one for someone with your condition. You could try a drumming induced trance or self hypnosis. Would you count herbal substances as drugs? I ahve had some success with calea zacatachichi aka calea ternifolia. Drunk as a tea sometimes along with a cigarette rolled of the same herb directly before bed time for lucid dreaming. Beware it tastes like extra bitter soap and incense. If you give up on naturals a sure bet is a nice pile of ketamine up the nose for obe.

Well, it was mostly to avoid having to always snort up, smoke up, or drink something before bed, mostly for addiction reasons, but I do understand, it is difficult, so I'm not against using them, especially herbal substances. I've read about a flower that helps induce lucid dreaming, never heard of the one you spoke of, but I'll be sure to look it up now. And thanks for the warning lul, taste doesn't bother me too much, I've used some nasty shit (kratom), so I'll be fine. Thanks again, hopefully this works, if it does I'll do a lil report in this thread if it's still visible enough.

for me, sleep deprivation (i.e. going 36+ hours without sleep) will often induce lucid dreaming. At the very least, I'll most likely have to deal with fucking sleep paralysis, especially if it's daytime when I finally go to bed.

Inducing OBE actually takes a lot of work and practise. It involves meditating and opening your chakras. Basically the energy of your chakras fuels your OBE or astral projection.

The resource I use is the Treatise on astal projection by Robert Bruce if you're interested. A pdf is at the bottom of this link:

smoking mugwort has helped me. just get a pipe or roll your own. you don't have to smoke it like a joint, just a few drags.

When you're really, really tired put this on and fall asleep.

If you have a cool dream, try it again 2 nights later for a repeat.

D'load episodes of old Twilight Zones from the 50-60's and try each one. Be amazed that you can revisit locations and themes whenever you want by chosing an episode to sleep to. Note: the theme of the audio/show has nothing to do with the theme of your dream.

It is easy, go to sleep but stay conscious by focusing on your senses. If you sleep at sundown you should naturally wake up in the middle of the night; that is the optimal time. some sources say to get out of bed, but in my experience this doesn't work. When I tried getting out of bed and going back to sleep in an hour the only success I had was in the morning after the second time I woke up. It is easier than >>52540 would make it seem.

one time i meditated in a bathroom very sleep deprived and i envisioned the bed behind me while i was standing and taking a piss. I had an OBE that night but i've tried and it's really tough to reinduce that state.
