This isn't meant to be a political thread as much as a conspiracy oriented thread so with that said, please don't anchor this.

Okay, so it seems Trump announced a Space Force. Do you guys think he knows something we don't? It's been speculated for a long time that we're in contact with different alien species, should we be expecting an invasion any time soon? Does it strike anyone else as odd that he'd suddenly announce a space force? There's plenty of videos out there to suggest that there's more to the story than what we're being told.

I hope so because once it's established I'm fucking joining. Although I'm already 27. I hope it's established in time for me to join. I'd be happy just to be the lowest level grunt on a human frigate or mothership.

>Do you guys think he knows something we don't?

That much should be obvious to everybody here at this point.

>It's been speculated for a long time that we're in contact with different alien species, should we be expecting an invasion any time soon?

It shouldn't happen until Earth develops Interstellar travel tech.

Besides, they could be already here and nobody would even notice them.

>Does it strike anyone else as odd that he'd suddenly announce a space force?

Not in particular. I only wonder why it took US government so long to do that.

I think you were a born a bit too early to be a space frigate grunt. But by doing something like welding or engineering, you can be making the infrastructure to build space frigates.

A lot of people have wanted a space force for decades because the Air Force drags its feet on space.

Wasn't there a top-secret declassified document that mentioned 'non-human officers'? I'm too lazy to search for it now.

>Do you guys think he knows something we don't?

Probably, but not much. I'm sure he doesn't know everything. Even the president is kept in the dark about certain things.

>It's been speculated for a long time that we're in contact with different alien species, should we be expecting an invasion any time soon?

Those 'aliens' have been here since before any human walked on this earth, the invasion (if you can call it that) already happened hundreds of thousands of years ago. We've been their slaves ever since then, it's just that in ancient times it was more obvious. The Sumerian texts say that we were created as a slave species for the Anunnaki. They own this planet and everything on it, including us.

>Does it strike anyone else as odd that he'd suddenly announce a space force?

What did he say about it exactly? Space weapons and extra-planetary military bases have been discussed before, in the context of a possible war between superpowers. In fact I would be surprised if the USA and Russia didn't already have a presence on the moon. Does he actually want military spaceships?

>>38968

I don't think we're ever gonna get disclosure, for the simple reason that if the aliens are really working together with the government, it's definitely not the elected government, but the so-called 'deep state'. Secret organisations that have their own black budget and answer to no-one.

>It shouldn't happen until Earth develops Interstellar travel tech.

I'd be more worried about all the recent interest in anti-aging research. The big difference between us and them has always been that they're immortal, and we're not. The biblical elohim were afraid that if we ate from the tree of life, we'd become just like them. There's a myth about Zeus killing Asclepius (a demigod with advanced knowledge of medicine) because he was about to discover the secret of immortality.

>I'd be more worried about all the recent interest in anti-aging research.

That would make everything worse, especially when elites would horde/hide that tech for themselves.

100% sure way to end with complete disaster.

'Space kingdom' seeks citizens for life beyond Earth very soon

VIENNA (Reuters) - Feel like the world is going to the dogs? Want to get away from it all? Here’s a solution: become a citizen of the nation of Asgardia and hope it makes good on its promise to colonize the moon.

Asgardia was founded just 20 months ago, and it already has about 200,000 citizens, a constitution and an elected parliament. It has a leader, Igor Ashurbeyli, who was inaugurated on Monday.

It also has grandiose ambitions. It wants to build up a population of 150 million within 10 years. It plans to set up “space arks” with artificial gravity in outer space where humans could live permanently.

“This day will certainly be recorded in the annals of the greatest events in the history of humankind,” Ashurbeyli said in his inaugural speech to an audience of several hundred in the Hofburg, Vienna’s former imperial palace.

You can read the rest of the article at: https://www.reuters.com/article/us-space-kingdom/space-kingdom-seeks-citizens-for-life-beyond-earth-very-soon-idUSKBN1JL2MC

They have a website where you can apply to become a citizen: https://asgardia.space/en/

Look, think logically about this. Any space faring civilization that can navigate the vacuum the way we do a road is lightyears more advanced that us. There is no space force we can muster to fight a hostile civilization like that on their own turf. In the damn unlikely event Trump knows something no other president or politician did before him, he's still bananas trying to do this for that reason.

Realistically, at most, Trump has intelligence that suggests other nations are militarizing low Earth orbit (or are in the process of developing systems to do so). More likely, Trump just wants his "grand call to action". Everyone apes Kennedy, and even he wasn't being original with his moon landing. He was just reaching further than the previous generation did with their conquests.

No matter how you cut it, this is a deeply unwise thing he is doing. It will surely become yet another money furnace for the military industrial complex that comes at the cost of civic good in a time when we should be funding universal health care, rebuilding our antiquated infrastuctures, and investing in various types of education. It could even provoke other hostile nations to do the same. Simply by preparing for such a war, we are invoking it. The depths of this stupidity is unreal.
