I was wondering this since I've been thinking about it around the 2010s

a lot of what we call "soyboys" today were imprinted in the images of Eddie Vedder and Kurt Cobain and some of their pals.

now I like some AIC and Soundgarden but this sudden shift of celebrating masculinity in the 80s to despising it in the 90s seemed a little off to me.

he's also been in the news lately. with a lot of his gear being sold for high prices and their daughter getting pissed at Courtney Love

also any theories surrounding his death or the symbolism appreciated.

sort of a /mu/ and /x/ crossover thread

>Upper class men used to wear make-up and wigs, and skin-tight pants.

Yes, in the 1700s.

And more often than not, those people were effeminate. They rarely had to work; they had serfs and slaves for that. They could spend all day fulfilling their hedonistic desires.

>He thinks that I believe long hair = feminine

Tell that to Kevin Nash, or Paul Levesque, or Mark Calaway, and see how long you last. Sure they have little in the way of actual fighting background, but they don't need to; their imposing physique is usually enough. Long hair on its own isn't feminine. You can be jacked like a motherfucker and have hair long enough to use as a ladder.

>This idea that manly men need to look a very specific way is relatively recent

What definition are you using in terms of "recent"? There's a very well known picture of boxer Mike Conley from the late 1800s that bear the archetypes of what I'd deem manly. Then you proceed into the world wars and on both sides, particularly America and Germany, all the propaganda showed strong males once more in this archetype. Chiseled jaws. Radiant, short hair that has been styled nonetheless. Toned chests. Bulging arms.

>David Bowie for example was a "real man"

That fucked Mick Jagger, but do go on.

>Caring about your appearance is not inherently a feminine trait

YES IT IS.

Present day niggers spend thousands on shoes they're never going to wear, pride themselves on "bling", and continue to buy eyesore modifications for their car. All in the name of caring over their appearance. Though they may not look it, they are buying into effeminate behavior, pure and simple.

>I'm willing to bet that Bowie's testosterone level was higher than 95% of men alive today

>And more often than not, those people were effeminate. They rarely had to work; they had serfs and slaves for that. They could spend all day fulfilling their hedonistic desires.

See, this is where we disagree. You seem to think that being manly must be necessarily about hard work and being busy doing stuff. That's completely arbitrary and sounds very lower class. You're not less of a man because you can afford to play chess while drinking tea instead of chopping trees down.

>Then you proceed into the world wars and on both sides, particularly America and Germany, all the propaganda showed strong males once more in this archetype.

Maybe because they were soldiers? Yes, a soldier needs to be in good shape and keep his hair short for practical purposes. But again, you're defining masculinity in a very utilitarian and situation-specific way.

>YES IT IS.

No it isn't. Who cares what niggers do? Caring about your appearance is a basic human trait. If you wash and shave your face, get a haircut once in a while, and try to wear nice clothes, you're taking care of yourself, not being feminine. If you didn't do those things, you wouldn't be seen as more manly… you'd just look like a hobo. It's sad, you've been brainwashed to believe that you're not allowed to improve your appearance, even though people will still judge you based on how you look, even if they say otherwise.

The "atheist" can't be the BO. He wanted Christians banned, and Christians aren't banned yet. And he's not even an atheist anyway. The first time I bumped into that hotheaded shill he was ranting in a succubus thread about the classic "problem of evil". Then he started talking about how occultism being a sin proves his point, how he was in a healthy relationship with a conjured succubus (if such a thing is even possible) and how Lilith is an aspect of the "feminine divine". After getting outed as succubus-anon and told how his own goddess is subject to his problem-of-evil rant the "ban the Christians" thread came up and the astroturfing and shilling kicked into full gear.

If the BO and this clown were one and the same then saying the sacred feminine is subject to every argument against the existence of a good and perfect God in a world where evil exists would either get me perma'd, give him a stroke, or both. He's definitely not the board owner.

But as I say my beliefs are far more complicated, I see women as dualistic and men unitary. This explains why women today are fucked up because if God created a woman and Satan created a woman and neither turned out "right" Eve and Lilith, respectively , one a horrid slut the other a naive idiot who preyed on Adam's desires, unknowingly, this explains the dual nature of women and why they are predestined to be mental, never question anything beyond the norm, are mass consumer junkies and are the cause of wars in and of themselves, even a heterosexual man myself I think they at least need to be micromanaged and lorded over, hence if they are not, chaos happens. Anyone else feel like they really and truly do not belong in this world, or this reality for that matter? I want to know if anyone else feels as if they wish to travel to another existence and escape this world, maybe ive been reading too many comics and playing too many video games, I mean I do interact with people a lot, Im not some social outcasted robot, but there’s been a consistent increasing feeling of unease and continuous longing for something else. Does anyone else feel this? Is there a way to escape this world, or this dimension for that matter, without suicide?

In other words I have had this thought. Imagine how the NSA spies on all of our phonecalls. Suppose Ayys can nanobot and spy on all our thoughts and actions. Supppose they make other races of batshit insane ayys or extraterrestrial humans believe that they have magical powers. The reality could be nanobots reading their thoughts, calculating their "faith", and running a perpetual psy-op for them to believe their magic works because they 'raised their consciousness' or some bullshit. Through their societal belief structure the ayyys at the top control the dupes into believing they are so much more superior and enlightened than us. They run their cruel experiments and manage our race, none the wiser of who is pulling the strings.

I don't listen to Rogan's podcast. What happened? Isn't Rogan quite open-minded when it comes to fringe topics? I mean, he had Alex Jones as a guest, right? And Graham Hancock and that old bearded guy who knew everything about global catastrophes. If he dismissed DeLonge, it's probably because he doesn't take him seriously as an authority on the subject of UFOs, I guess. Okay, we know he was in contact with a guy who's also interested in UFOs, but so what?

Like most people, I have a killswitch which sends me to sleep almost instantly. In my case, it's the sound of raindrops against a roof or car window.

Strange thing is, there are a couple of vids on Youtube specifically centered on that kind of content, but twenty or thirty minutes, I suddenly get "interference" by something which sounds like music coming from the car's radio. Except the radio isn't on, and the only sound you're supposed to hear are aforementioned raindrops banging against the car window.

It get's even more bizarre when you listen in to the stuff - seems to be some weird kind of Christian crap about Jesus being our lord and dying for our sins and then some, but again, I find it difficult to believe that some random YouTube fag is trying to brainwash people who like the sound of rain.

Has anyone else encountered similar things?

When I was 14 I used to fall asleep very easily during the car ride home from school. I was hot, tired (weird non 24h sleep pattern) and wearing my absolutely atrocious heat conducting uniform in the tropics. I used to hear the sound effects used in CS:GO for explosions and gunfire. I have had other experiences like this usually when half asleep and somewhat uncomfortable but with different sounds since I don't play CS:GO anymore. Usually they are short loops of a song I've listened to a few too many times or someone calling something out.

From as I understand it, reading both Wikipedia alongside the sources listed to make sure they've been paraphrased correctly, Pompeii and Herculaneum became nothing more than mere legends as those who remembered the eruption died off and details were lost through the generations. Their names and precise location were forgotten around the Middle Ages, and by the 15 - 1600s, the few people living in the region of Mt. Vesuvius would refer to it as La Cività - The Civilization. The legend entailed a lost city of some sort buried deep beneath Vesuvius' ash deposits, but nobody had any proof. There was no specific location, only a general area, and no specific name. Again, please correct me if I'm wrong. But that's how I understand it. Any mention of Pompeii and/or Herculaneum after the fall of the Roman Empire yet before 1798 is anachronistic, or at least they should be, since they refer to settlements that were not known by the general populace. And yet more than enough evidence exists that suggests they were never forgotten. As I showed in my earlier replies, maps from the 16th and 17th centuries, in addition to the 1631 stone epitaph all refer to the two cities by name. The two cities which had been buried by ash and forgotten by history for over 1500 years. Any way you cut it, those names should not be on the map. Nor should they be on that epitaph. I'm not gonna say it again but the names of the settlements around Mt. Vesuvius were supposedly rediscovered alongside the settlements themselves.

In conclusion, there can only be two possibilities:

<Pompeii was never truly forgotten, and 1798 is when they finally decided to dig it up and give Alcubierre some free recognition that he really didn't deserve

<Pompeii survived much, much later than when we are told, and whether it was a new city built over the ashes of the original, or the original city having never suffered from its alleged AD 79 destructiPost too long. Click here to view the full text.

I've been reading more of what's on the StolenHistory website, and for all the sheer batshittery they've put out on display (a human cloning centre disguised as an 18th/19th century prison is one of their latest threads to give you some idea of how unhinged they all are), they've pointed out that everything we know about Genghis Khan is likely false, as it all comes from a 1908 book written by a fervent Mongolian nationalist, Baavuday Tsend Gun, whose cited sources are entirely nonexistent. If this is indeed the case, then we need a rethink over the entire history of Eurasia, since Khan was arguably its largest figure. There are references to a "Chingiscan" or some other derivative as the founding patriarch of the Tartarian royal family, but then that begs another question; was Tartary its own empire, or just a forgotten historical synonym for Mongolia? If Tartary was real, where are the artefacts? What was its currency, and what were its denominations? Why are there no surviving examples of said currency?

You can find coins from monarchs that ruled for a matter of weeks 2000 years ago, as the latest find in England discovered. Why can't we find any coins from any monarch that ruled what was allegedly the largest, most dominant Empire on the face of the Earth for several hundred years, finally being defeated 150 - 200 years ago? If someone can procure an actual coin bearing the mark of "Tartary", then the theory holds some solid ground and we really may be lied to on a massive scale. How massive is again up to you, whether it was just an Empire that history has forgotten despite its recency, or something completely destroyed by an unparalleled natural and man-made string of disasters that happened only a few hundred years after the death of Christ rather than 1800, with us living in year i/j500 or whatever Fomenko believes. But until then, it remains doubtful in my eyes.

Finally, for all you antiquarians out there, please tell me what in the flying fuck are these pictures supposed to depict? Second image is apparently a fireworks celebration with candlelight, and I must say the floating orbs inside the temple buildings were a nice touch. I found a colored version of the latter at one point Post too long. Click here to view the full text.

Ongoing Experiments in the Field of Anti-Matter Weapons Research and the Hotan Event:

According to public sources, after briefly researching the concept of anti-matter as a triggering mechanism for fusion-based (thermonuclear) devices, the U.S. Air Force ceased its research into the concept 10 years ago, and nothing has been reported on the topic since. The news of this research came on the heels of a number of breakthroughs, including the ability to stabilize anti-matter for 17 minutes. The public accepted the news of the ceasing of this research as a fact and moved on.

I believe the public deserves to be aware of a few facts that they don’t currently have at their disposal. The first is that anti-matter research is alive and well, and continues to this day. After years of experimentation, the Air Force, in cooperation with Lawrence-Livermore National Laboratories, has developed containment “pods” that can permanently stabilize small quantities of anti-matter (about 300 atoms.) The second is that while American research was halted when it was determined that storing very large quantities posed the risk of a Mass Extinction Event; a likely outcome when considering the fragility of the containment pods.

The third fact probably deserves its own novel, but I must keep this brief. The U.S. has a functioning technological mechanism for the sending and receiving of messages through the dimension of “time.” It is located somewhere in New Mexico, but not at any of the major laboratories you may be familiar with. It functions by emitting and detecting slightly greasy neutrinos in an ultra-cold environment approximately 1,500 feet BGL, where it is shielded from most naturally occurring neutrinos.

The fourth is that this device has provided us with intelligence indicating that a massive explosion will occur some time in the year 2020 near the Southwestern China city of Hotan. Where the Americans discontinued their research, the Chinese have clearly continued endeavoring to contain increasingly large quantities of anti-matter. This can only lead to disaster. The nature of temporal mechanics dictates that the future and past are always in a state of flux, and that even armed with intelligence Post too long. Click here to view the full text.

Up until the power itself ran out, no one/thing in particular necessarily was at fault/to blame for the power outage

I always sort of figured that niggers were the "missing link," and that's why nobody will come out and say it. But that's just as bad as the "out of africa" theory of evolution.

Either way, they're domesticable as farm animals and laborers (so long as the task at hand is a simple one), but keeping them around, subsidizing their unsupervised breeding, and leaving them to their own devices is just suicide.

Asians got mutated by the bug aliens to be more like them, which is why they have such different features and such a hive mentality/social structure.

Meanwhile whites were left to the Nordic aliens, usually benevolent, and were made more into their image, being tall and blonde and fair.

The dark races were left as they are, little more than animals on their dark continent with no extra-terrestrial intervention.

What interesting things have you read about Atlantis?

>>>/atlantis/

They supposedly used some kinda advanced crystal tech, could it be they used philosopher stones? to extend life and heal themselves? might it be more similar to the acuscope? maybe they knew about lasers and did construction like puma punku? the legend passed down somehow, the egyptians seemed to get less and less technologically adept - it could have been like some of the empires in known history, that they had a main island but spread their influence across most of the world, the atlantic ocean must be named that for a reason

Doggerland might have been home to some ancient proto-civilization, but it doesn't match Plato's description of Atlantis… We need to keep in mind that according to the Egyptian priest who told Solon the story, there had been many countries destroyed by fire and water over the years. Atlantis was only one of them.

The God of the Elite isn't Lucifer.

If you think Lucifer is something like the culmination of all Humans you are completely wrong, in fact if you think you know the origin of how we came to be you are completely wrong.

No persons here understands what the Elite believe, that has never been posted online.

A lot of what is known in the past 10 years I'm responsible for, but even that is only maybe 25-30% of the whole truth.

Pic related, a lot of people are posting pictures of a Devil eating people because of the geometric implication which reveals the interplay of two pentacles which is a very important key to understanding what the elite believe.

But, if you cannot move entirely beyond it you will not have the bigger picture, all you will have is shit that is fed to people who don't get the picture to give them the impression they understand what is going on but in reality they know nothing.

The absolute highest images and symbols of power have never been written about.

I posted the meaning of the Hexagram because I thought it was funny people are still sucking shit out of the asshole of 1920s writing but even this alone isn't enough to actually move forward.

All of you fuckers are in the matrix, and whoever has the strongest symbol has the most control so the sigil magic, meme magic everyone posts is completely useless as fuck

Diana was worshipped by the Romans, and by the Greeks before them (as Artemis) and probably by even older cultures under different names. I find it hard to believe that the first dianic witch cult was started in relatively recent times.
