Głównymi wadami tego rozwiązania jest wrażliwość na deptanie - w porównaniu do trawnika dużo łatwiej uszkodzić taki mszalnik chodząc po nim. Poza tym zamszony teren będzie zarastać chwastami szybciej niż trawnik i będzie wymagał cotygodniowej pielęgnacji (czyli pielenia xD)
